@@babayaga9805 I'll need to see what combos you're doing, but generally in the last patches, Hwoarang hasn't been nerfed, just minor adjustments for certain moves

I understand your frustration with the 50/50 mixups, but what other choice do players have? You basically said what I'm telling players to do, which is learn the matchup. I know it's not easy but it's not unrealistic to react to certain attacks since defense involves anticipation and reaction. You know the options Hwo has but don't know which one he's going to use. For example if you see the 2 jab from right flamingo, you automatically know to duck. Same thing with any launcher or power crush, you have to know how to punish those things. It would be better to at least try to learn Hwo's pressure then to just let Hwo players pressure you. But if you ever want to practice with me, let me know so we can get better together ✌️

Hwoarang is pretty much one of the hardest characters to learn because of his stances but easiest to defend against once you learn his moves and setups. If you're getting hit with powercrush then that means you need to stop crouch blocking, cuz his powercrushes are punishable except the one in right stance. If you're guessing what he's going to do then you need to take time to lab him so you KNOW what he's going to do.

@@vReez0 Nah, anyone can do mixups with every character, but Hwoarang is especially bad beacuse of his 300+ moves and stances and whatnot. I've even seen Knee and JDCR getting mixed-up by Hwoarang because they guessed wrong. Nobosy can react to i16 frame mid-low-high mixups top stances etc. Hwoarang is spammy more so than any other character, like Eddy.

@@Hypercube1729 Hwoarang doesn't have that many moves from his flamingo stances, most of which can be easily ducked and/or sidestepped. Everyone has a mixup yes and you can't guess correctly all the time, but it's not easy playing against high ranked players as Hwoarang. He doesn't have strings that can't be interrupted with good defense like Azucena or Drag. His flamingo stances leave him vulnerable if blocked or ducked, or low parry even while Eddy gets to block in his low stance now. Eddy is far better than Hwoarang when it comes to relentless pressure and far better as a character right now.

Idk y u mad at hwo hes one of the hardest characters to play in game at a certain level. He has low damage compared to everyone else and is pressure is usally fake

You only ever sidewalk in the video and call it sidestepping which is a distinct action that doesn't require a double tap.

Maybe there's a way by searching through the Leaderboards. Go to filters and search for strictly Hwoarang players on all consoles. Then go to the Rank points tab and scroll all the way to the 1,179 spot which would be me lol

Go to tekken online replay and search for tekken id and type the id in it should be numbers and letters not his actual name and then add him from there

When in left flamingo stance, you move forward after pressing 3 (A for Xbox and X for PlayStation).

First it was D3, 4, then 2 in RF. When I switched, it was 4~RF, 2. This (~) meaning holding forward after 4.

It's a special neat trick where you stop holding forward in left flamingo to press 3, and then immediately afterwards you hold forward again to stay in left flamingo and the rinse and repeat. I'm sorry if me explaining it still sounds confusing, it's kinda hard to explain 😂
