Good grief! Who burnt that piece of toast at the beginning!? Just look on the underside of it.
Total crush on young James Bolam.
Serious crush on young James Bolam. 🩷
this was the last time new housing was built under a tory gov
Thelma looks cannily like a younger queen Elizabeth ll, pet.
No one wants to be Terry - even if they are Terry.
Thelma is SO annoying.
But what I cannot accept😂
Great series these 2 were brill 😊
Locations. The Beehive pub was used in filming. Locations used include the Spanish City funfair at Whitley Bay, the Beehive public house, the Coast Road (A1058) flats and Tynemouth Pier.
I was young enough to watch the first series and it was just like my friends and I. Excellent writing and so true to the time.
360p really!!
Faithfulness does not seem to be a priority in this show. That's a shame.
The perfect man would be a combination of 70% Bob and 30% Terry 😄
Anyone notice that the character of Terry's wife Jutta is mentioned in the credits for this episode played by April Walker. She must have appeared in a scene that got edited out I suppose.
There are many funny things in this series
Great theme song😊
I was an addict of this and the previous series, I tried to be Terry but ended up like Bob!!!
Love this series so beautifully observed and acted. When we could laugh at ourselves and others!!
It stuns . why some people use stupid sayings, like have not lived because we as a race are not clones of each other and we cannot physically and or mentally do the same thing no way. I have been to sci-fi events and met actors from sci-fi shows and sci-fi films and got their autographs but there are other people who have not done that but so blinking what it does not matter. In this world we have to be individuals and not clones of each other that would never work in ten billion years no way
These kind of shows are not shown today .
the 1970s style houses. 2 or 3 bedroom. same style all over the country
This was the year I was born. I can honestly say that sitcoms were far better back then. In both writing, acting performance and production.
I was born this year. Put this on and looked at the comments lol happy 50 to us
Collier '74 LOL
Amazing how loudly people used to speak in those days. Was it the microphones?
This isn't very good.
Bob was stubborn not giving a blood sample
the wallpaper and carpets of the 1970s.
so glad i managed to avoid marriage. despite being engaged twice. so accurate the way the parents get involved.. the whole marriage situation is just more control mechanism in denial of science. anthropological studies show thet humans are not a monogamous species.
Oh for the days when you could laugh at a programme and no one would complain they were offended.
They made more than two episodes in the 60s can we see more please
what if i told you that i could easily be persuaded? I think about this whole question about God and whether or not he exists everyday, it truly would not take much for me to believe in him. And of course, if God exists, he would know what it would take for me to believe in him. Do you care about my eternal future?
Think Thelma's curtains ended up in Fools & Horses.
I'ts Great To see the Newcastle Of Old.
My fave episode
They WERE the good old days!
Rewind
R.I.P., Rodney Bewes and Brigit Forsyth.
Absolutely brilliant...how I wish I could go back to those simple, uncomplicated days.
Anyone recognise the pub?
Thelma is a honey❤
Away bonny lad.
Can.t get the film somehow shame it.s a good one
Kevin Beck...👍
My childhood...happy days...Terry Collier...my hero....
The U.K comedy was so funny, now with puffs LBTQm+ and open borders policies mass immigration BLM all crying 😭 am A victim no am A bigger victim. It’s just sad crap. Europe is Definitely Done. You will never see the BBC going to a Pakistan immigrat asking them for a bbc licence fee. It’s just very old White European English people.
