Shai is a less versatile scorer. Look at his shot chart, a lot of midrange shots hence the higher efficiency. Luka was one of the best 3 point shooters last season on a high volume, SGA wasn't. And the playmaking gap is huge.

Also SGA outplayed Luka in that series. Playmaking gap is not huge. Luka averaged 24.7 PPG 10.5 Reb 8.7 assist 4.5 TO 44.7FG % SGA averaged 32.2 PPG 8.0 Reb 7.3 assist 2.0 TO 50.7 FG % Also SGA had the younger team and Luka had more experienced and better role players around him and SGA still played better. The playmaking gap is HUGE!!?? That’s laughable. Luka only avg 1.4 more assist per game. All OKC had was SGA to lean on and Luka had Kyrie as well. SGA did not have the help that Luka had and still SGA outplayed him.

@aeast6206 measuring playmaking just off assists is laughing. Luka was blitzed 200 times more than the 2nd player according to second spectrum stats, he creates tremendous gravity in PnR unlike Shai. And Luka's scoring versatility is what makes it tougher to guard him. He can midrange, post, attack the rim, score 3s. He had a higher FG% at the rim than a lot of centers and PFs, and he's a PG! Lol

Luka was a positive defensively all regular season and was a CLEAR positive defensively vs the clippers and Okc who BOTH tried to hunt him and failed.
