I think people were definitely more reluctant to intervene because the two parties were related to each other. There is a chance (quite high) that if a conflict occurs (e.g. "boyfriend" and passerby getting into blows, or the police gets called), the "girlfriend" would end up siding with the "boyfriend". This would be the same if both involved parties had familial relations. It's not that we're not Samaritans; rather, we might be blamed by the victim if we get too assertive. It just doesn't pay to be Samaritans in most scenarios.

must say the episodes were super enjoyable! I think they brought out many pertinent POVs from different individuals (esp in ep 3) while keeping it lighthearted and somewhat humourous with the laidback and quirky judges. Not sure about the amount of resources and time that goes into this since it stopped at 3 episodes, but this was rly well done! also kudos to the main actors esp, not sure if this was scripted/mostly improv but they stayed in character all the time, and it was refreshing to see new faces! Hope to see more!!
