Hi Lily! Long time twitch watcher recent youtube sub here. I put this VOD on tonight while my recently "inherited" (late father's) cats were out and about. Neither of them had EVER shown interest in what was on the TV until this vod was playing. They both jumped up on the cat tree next to the TV and just watched for around an hour. It was so strange but funny at the same time. My cats apparently really liked this lol! EDIT: I forgot to mention that these cats are both VERY hard to please.

He was son of Bodhisattva Pilanpo who created that needle from the power of her son Dawnstar's eyes. It was the dawnstar that killed the scorpion queen . You fought her husband the scorpion lord. It was to rescue wukong and tang monk Sadly it seems both mother and son were targeted . No one knows what happened to Bodhisattva Pilanpo. In the novel , yellowbrow was one is the students of Maitreya Buddha ( the kid buddha ) alongside Jinchanxi (wukong's master) . While yellowbrow was really powerful he only hated jinchanxi bcz he was always defeated by him in debates. So he came and trapped them all. Wukong escaped and asked for help against him . First the 28 constellation generals came to help him (kang jin loong among them) but were all defeated by him. Then wukong asked for help and the 3rd prince and his 4 captains came to help him but all were defeated as well (you defeated what remained of the 4 captains). Lastly Xangwu requested the turtle and snake generals to assist wukong. Sadly they were captured s well. Wukong now completely helpless , cried for the first time and pleaded anyone who'd listen to him . Finally Maitreya answered him and helped him defeat Yellowbrow In the novel , it turns out yellowbrow was one of the most powerful opponents who were successful in defeating wukong . The novel was written over 500 years ago

I know i am late to this 😢 The bodhisattva is someone who is only second to THE BUDDHA . They are extremely powerful able to move beyond life and death and rebirth. They allow themselves to face hardships to reach nirvana. Only one that outranks them is Buddha and Maitreya Buddha (future buddha kid from chapter 3)
