agree so much with all of this. especially the needing to feel safe where you live, especially as a woman living alone. I always lived in the cheapest apartments possible until I literally watched my neighbor stab someone on my back porch, and after that it's a nonnegotiable for me. I'll do a little doordash to make up the extra rent so I can sleep better at night and not witness literal crimes like wtf.

Thank you to the fruit/veggie purists that feel the need to explain the difference b/w a fruit and a vegetable, however I’m aware of the scientific difference. For my home/cooking habits, I took some liberties. But the beauty of shopping for groceries for your house and that you can do whatever you want and don’t have to do what I did 😊
