My name is Michael. This is where I make informative videos on skills and techniques I have learned over the years as well as lean principals.
I specialize in metalworking techniques. Over the years of entrepreneurship I have learned a lot of skills on my own or from UA-cam so it’s great to give back.

Any links from the armchair experts to their _own_ videos showing how to do this _their_ way? Mmm. Naw. Didn't think so. Thanks for sharing this video @bruneprune . Some of us didn't have the benefit of a father figure to learn various things from. As someone who has accidentally taken a ratchet buckle to the face, I like to look at how-to videos so that never happens again.
Great video. Thanks
Thank you very much Michael! Excellent ideas!
Can you do a video on welding these up into a enclosed piece?
My collegues comment : this is 101 how not to do the video demonstration.
@@GodEternalWithinYourBody There is always room for improvement. Thanks for your input.
It would help not burning through bits if you didnt try to force the bit theough with your whole body at full speed. They work better if you either have high speed and low pressure or low speed high pressure.
I bougt one of these, after a little testing I find it's fine but my question is : Where did you find that page that you have blown up and sheathed, that's excellent, I want to laminate one and stick on the wall :)
i think its in the manual if you google it.

Nice, worked for me!

Привет. Я такой же себе купил. Не могу разобраться . cold.tig.в настройках . помоги мне
Very helpful broi replaced mine
I’m asking because mines fell and I didn’t know exactly where it fell from
So the busting you said not to lose…. Is it just one on the right side?
Well, it's certainly faster than the rag method.
Man that's awesome. I do a fair bit of welding and fabrication as an electrical apprentice doing duct bank, but this is just another level of fabrication. Love to see it.
Beautiful job! As a European I can't help feel that having to say "250 plus a 1/32" is just making a rod for your own back, but it evidentially works for you!
would you prefer "250.03125"?
@@SkyOctopus1 I’m in Canada we should be metric. But because we’re so close to USA all metal thickness is imperial so it makes it even more difficult. Even if you are using metric on drawings a 10mm plate is only .375 not .393 so you end up doing more math.
Super nice work. really enjoy the video. Keep them up
So that's how these are made! Thanks for showing it's just math, skill and patience. I thought it was way more complicated, just making them by hand seems to work really well!
Thank you , the info I needed simply explained. Only needed to take one Dramamine to watch. Thanks again
Very cool to see this and be completely lost in the beginning to full understanding by the end of the video. Nice work!
My man, this one video was more informative than any other in stainless polishing. Knowing what grit will get you what number polish, and not cross contaminating wheels with iron were important
Awesome job explaining step by step how you got the job done. Not very many videos of this so it’s cool to see how you guys do this type of work
Thank you for this! I can FINALLY get the file to send out and receive, but on my computer, it doesnt show up in the directory? Anyone else had that problem, or know how to fit it?
Brah stop doing tutorials if you dont know how to use the things
Hello brother, what is this paper called? Please reply to me. Thank you.
Thermal transfer paper. Cougatron makes it.
Did exactly as you said and it fixed the problem. Sometimes the easiest fix is the least obvious. Thanks for posting.
Man it feels good to see shitty welds out in the wild , i feel like they only live on my jobs sometimes LOL
you got that right......
Why do My straps come lose every time? I pull this trailer and put a lawnmower inside. I strap it down to the floor tight and every time i get to my destination all 2 straps are lose. I tried 2 different brands and they did the same!
Make sure it’s in the center. If the load isn’t under the center of the strap making an equal angle at either side it will move and cause strap to loosen.
You saved the day. We just had haas out here to change the sensors and it was still continually showing up the high gear code.
Good to hear! like and subscribe!!
How would you go about it without that cool dial?
Really helpful, practical guide on cutting the foam, thanks!😀
Iv just purchased one awaiting for its delivery how are you finding it? is it still going strong
seems good to me so far.
Thank you!! You saved mine from the trashcan!! ❤
What's the name of that grey cement?
Sorry, I also have a Romi G20 but I don't have a tailstock. I'm looking for a photo with the measurements. could you send me one please? Greetings from Colombia
Thanks for this video, I followed it and it was easy. I replaced the normal ones with stainless. Saved me some $$.
Is the stainless better do they last longer?
@@mickelion6198 should last longer, the oem is a really flimsy plastic.
@michael G How can get this machine.....
Why i can't edit the coolant position number ? The raw is empty on my machine.
You are clueless when it comes to ratchet straps!!!
Hands down, spot on... my Seadoo had the exact same issue, everyone in the family claimed no rocks had been sucked in.
Where did you get that beam or bar contraption that you used with the bottle jack towards the end of the video?
Just flatbar with coupling nuts welded in it. An old custom gear puller
Vice grips with snatch bar attached never seen that before
Thanks to your video.. I I nearly threw mine away until I looked at your video.. thanks again..
Hi Michael, If it was at all possible a video on the adjustment ram parallelism would be amazing help for everyone that has one of these old machines, it's getting harder and harder to find engineers to even look at our machine.
Right on worked great , thanks
Some of the nicest painting hooks I have ever seen in my life.
Fold a bolt to a L shape, put it's head inside the bearing, stick another smaller bolt on the hole to push the first bolt to one side and pull on the L shaped one. No cuts no bs. "plz listen to me"😂
Wanna rebuild mine, hollow bore gearbox with 1 7/16" stainless pipe as shaft. Cannot get it out
