Started this channel to share my journey and experiences with my 2009 Honda Fit Sport. It is bone stock. You will see the Fit become a handling monster. I will be doing part installations. Honest reviews. Daily or weekly vlogs.
coilover maintenance and top hat replacement
there has been some noise coming from the driver front end. decided to take everything apart and get to the bottom of the issue. found out it was worn out parts and did some cleaning and service on my coilovers. ended with an alignment.

night before went out to the mountains with my friend in his miata. he wanted to test his new tire re71r. I was running my stock wheels with 500tw tires. end result was glazed rotors and brake fade. so today I'm swapping rotors, sanding down pads, lubricating sliding pins, and bleeding fluid.

I would change out those thrust bearings for the spring seats as it will create coil bind. Get a coil over sock/cover to keep all the debris out that can wear out the shocks faster over time.
@ClassicRed2159 thrust were made by swift springs to prevent binding.
More front camber on a static front setup is best 🤌 Wheels look amazing. Corner balance isn’t worth it imo but if you access for free it can be useful

For anyone that has a rolling jack, don’t bring it in from the front, bring it in from a wheel well…no issue with movement

This is how spirited driving should be, calm at first, then gradually speeding up, maintaining the lane. Probably went a little too fast over that hump but overall, good fun but cautious driving

Hey, thanks for the video! My Fit (Jazz, in my country) stutters while the semi-auto downshifts 2-1 during traffic stops. I had the clutch replaced and the actuators fixed. Do you think i should also replace the engine mounts?
Only if they need to be changed

@@ranchofitge8 When it downshifts from 2 to 1, i feel a noticeable kick. Sometimes when stationary and putting it in reverse, this kick can be massive

how often are you going to rotate or swap tires side-to-side? 3* camber is huge and might add to twitchyness (like driving on a knife wdge) to the steering feel. does anyone make camber shims for the Fit. the mk4 GTI had camber shims for the beam rear axle. s
I haven't had to rotate them surprisingly. Wear is even and minimal

The Honda Fit second Gen 👌 is an amazing vehicle, no doubt plenty of room compact and a sporty feel when driving it on the road or on track. it will never loose traction when driving it hard. LOVE IT Thanks again Rancho Fit looking forward for the next Meet God bless
