I used 2 of the large ones yesterday for chips, tasted good. The smaller potatoes we do the same as your wife. I’ve got a bag to give to a neighbor as I’ve already frozen lots and we can’t eat that box full. I’d hate to see them go to waste.

No I used my GoPro 7 which I used while I was waiter my GoPro 12 to be replaced. The GoPro 7 is ok and is quite cheap on eBay. I used a head mount also cheap on eBay 👍

@@timelapseskyuk ya they do b ut on some of the one way streets here in jamestown sometime they r parked like they r there some areas have big house but owner has made several apartments in them i saw one yesterday that had 6 electric meters on it . sometimes evan more plain crazy .!!! i would not like that cause what if something happens to that house everyone loooses there stuff in house fire . i will not live that weay yuck

@@teddybear4020 same here. In Australia we could buy an apartment on the Gold Coast right on the beach with fantastic views quite cheap but my wife won’t live in any type of hi-rise or apartments. Our dog we had (German Shepherd) barked when we got her so we decided it was only fair to others that we live in a detached house. In UK we had to move north to be able to afford the type of house we wanted. Since we left Australia in 2016 the prices of all types of house have gone up so much it ridiculous. A house on 500sqm block, 4 bed, 2 bathroom, fitted kitchen (dishwasher and cooker/hob) was A$500. Now A$850+!

Good morning, 13c/55.4f 7.50am. Grey high clouds getting thicker. Rain was forecast yesterday but didn’t come. No wind now. I did get into the garden. The garden waste bin needs to go out for collection on Thursday so needed to do some jobs. Cut some branches off the plum tree. Dead headed some plants and my back veggies box which had a lot of potato plants appear, even though I hadn’t planted any this year, needed clearing and totally by surprise I got a big box of first class potatoes. I did a short video of that lol. I was leaning on my left hand while using a small hand shovel to carefully expose any more potatoes and my left shoulder became so weak that arm wouldn’t support me. Another new MS symptom which I can add to my list. ☹️ I had come to terms with lower body but I hoped my upper body would be ok. 👍

@@teddybear4020 20 years this December since first diagnosed with MS and I’m still standing, just so i consider my self luckier than a lot of other people with MS. As long as I can look after my wife I’m happy 👍

@@teddybear4020 that’s ok, I’m not going anywhere until 9am my time, 1 hour 40 minutes. Got to go to pharmacy, post office and store which I’ll do on my mobility scooter. I might ware a GoPro on my head so you can see my village.

Turned out ok just cold to start with. Once sun broke through warmth came with it. Rained a bit through the night but drying up now. 7.05am 12c/53.6f partial clouds. Its like 2 Sundays in a row here as it a public holiday, today Monday. Back to normal tomorrow. I want to service my motor mower today. Sharpen the 4 blades, replace the pull start rope and replace the choke/throttle leaver. Is I get that done I will be happy. 👍

I’ve dragged my tools from country to country when moving. Before I opened my first computer store in 1998 I repaired microwaves and refrigeration. I still have my re-gassing tools including a bottle of 134a refrigerant used in cars and refrigerators. I’ll try and do some filming and if it’s helpful I’ll upload 👍

Good morning, yesterday turned out better than expected. When the cloud broke we got enough sun to raise the temperature to about 21c/69.8f. It’s 7-40am now and temperature 9c/48.2f clear blue sky and was clear all last night. If stays like this will be a nice day. Tomorrow in UK is Public Holiday so will be last chance for families go out on day trips or 4 day weekend as new school year starts first week of September. The cows arrived yesterday and there are more, 30 now. Already the grass has gone down. Maybe you need a cow or goat on that piece of grass to keep it down. Just think, no mowing and plenty of milk lol👍

@@timelapseskyuk YES.when i grew up right in our back yard the farmer behind us had about that many cows we go over there and buy milk from him ,sometimes dad would do jobs 4 him and get paid in all the milk we could use ,!!!! dad would do alot of fence repairs for him cause he was getting older and farming was getting real tough on him so dad did alot of work 4 him and i had to help . as much as i could being real young my self was not i did .

It’s important to listen to your body, it take some time and it’s frustrating not being able to go on as long as before but pace yourself and your body will thank you. I think you know what I mean. I’m going through that and my wife is struggling with the same issues. Humidity is very high even with a lower temperature. 9.15 here now, temperature is 13c/55.4f heavy grey clouds that look like there holding a lot of rain! Your videos are very good and you talk on them well. Keep them coming. I’m going to make some home made chocolate soon so will try and film that too. 👍

@@teddybear4020 so easy to do that little bit more, was what did a few weeks ago when I thought I could walk to the farm and back up the lane. Only 1/2 mile there then half mile back home down hill… easy right! Got to the farm and half way back home I couldn’t stop my legs going down the hill as a result fell, struggled to get up. Eventually did then fell again. I’d pushed myself to far. Last time I did the walk about 3 months before I was just ok, NOT NOW. I’ve had to accept for me things are now different.

It warmed up in mid afternoon yesterday but not much as the clouds were only breaking a little. Temperature now at 6.20am is 15c/59f. Very windy with patchy rain. Heavier rain forecast later.

Wow! Great new got mower back. Will be nice to spend the day with your daughter. Are you planning anything or day at home? Yes clouds you seen yesterday were building to create storm Lilian. We’ve got very strong wind warnings from the met office. The power company has messaged me with possible power loss due to high winds. @@teddybear4020 my youngest daughter has some special needs but lives semi independently in an apartment within a managed building designed for adults with medical/mental health needs. She’s had 2 kidney transplants, first when she was 16 and second day before her 30th birthday. The last kidney she had has been failing and she is now going to need dialysis 3 or 4 times a week. She’s been told she may not be able to have a third kidney. She is also profoundly deaf since birth so communication for her is sign language, she can also read lips. It does make difficulty for doctors and nurses to have two way conversation. The new that our 36 year old daughter may not be able to have another kidney has really affected my wife, me as well but I can see my wife is mortified, as a nurse she knows the likely outcome is not going to be good.

I woke about 2am. I could see it was cloudy out and a police helicopter was buzzing about 1/2 a mile away. It looked like it was hovering over a great big new mansion estate which has been built over past five years. It owned by Middlesbrough football (soccer) club chairman. Middlesbrough is about an hour north from me, across the North Yorkshire Moors. Temperature now is15c/59f. Very grey with likelihood of rain. It’s 8.10am here now.

With my GoPro 12 back up and running I can get longer 4k videos. The higher resolution allows you to zoom in on distant objects to see what they are.

@@teddybear4020 in the Quik app there is a lot of free to use music which will be added automatically or you can choose. Also search bensounds on the internet for free music. UA-cam shorts always you to search any music or sounds for your short. I’ve used that lots of times for bird sounds etc.

It very clever how the GoPro software ‘Quik’ uses AI to sync the music to the clouds. I could leave the software to do the whole edit but the video might not show what I want or will be too long or short lol. I’ve used the GoPro Quik app to edit all my videos even the videos I took on my phone or inta360. You can download load it from App Store for free and create an account (no cost) then easy to edit and add music and titles. Once video is saved it can be downloaded to phone for upload to UA-cam. 👍

Good morning, like your area it’s cooled down here too. 7.35am here now and 14c/57.2f grey sky but dry. Wind has gone, very windy yesterday. I’ve got the replacement GoPro up and running. Good to have it back. Sometimes it’s good to have a day inside. As you say there’s always chores to be done and coffee is close by for when you are ready to relax 👍

@@timelapseskyuk 531 AM now i brought my house plants in b4 i went to sleep cause tues night will drop evan colder i did order new pots for some of my plants but may do the repotting once we get to house with 3 bedrooms { one in my vids } at least i will have them.

@@teddybear4020 my wife moved a lot of our potted plants around the back of the house to protect them from the strong winds we get here from off the moors. When we get the north or north east winds the temperature drops suddenly. The apes on ours trees will start to become ready to eat as the temperature drops. 🙁

Good morning to my friends in the USA. I encouraged my wife to come outside with me for a few minutes. We have a nice garden but when you’re unwell just keeping the weeds down is a challenge. We have large amounts of wild blackberries growing around our property and in the lanes and hedge rows along the fields. Do you have blackberries in the US? I’ve got to get a ladder up to get the best blackberries from the right corner at the back, you will see me succeed or fall lol. Temperature here has dropped. Last night felt cold. It’s 11.35am here now and temperature is 17c/63.6f. There is a lot of clouds today with sunshine breaking through now. Feels like autumn (fall) has arrived. 👍

In time you’ll get more kit for filming. There maybe a way of putting it out there that you are looking for a tripod and even a GoPro, someone might have stuff they don’t need. 👍

Yes clouds quickly built up to rain. I needed to steady the hand railing going up the steps on right. I got some end cuts of decking which were cut to a point and used a heavy club hammer to drive them into the ground next to the posts. This made the rail rock steady. I think the lack of rain dried the ground and caused the sail to shrink around the posts. I will try and wave next time lol. I’m still using my GoPro 7, an older camera. GoPro has emailed my to let me know the new camera has been dispatched so will have that back up and running soon. The time lapse short I did yesterday was with a different camera, an Insta360 x3. I’ve not used it much but it films in 8k 360 degrees so when editing you don’t miss anything from any direction. 👍

7.15am here now. Blue sky with few clouds. Much cooler outside, got down to 13c/55.4f. Now it’s 16c/60.8f. Yesterday we had steady rain all day. Just started raining after I finished a bit of gardening. Your day was busy again. You have long bike rides, do you stay in the city or go out in the farming areas?👍

As it’s cool at the moment I want to try and tidy one bit of our back garden that is just outside our lounge room double doors. There is a York stone wall which is about 18 inches high, runs along the width of the back garden where the decking is. You would have seen it in the video you’ve seen when I was flying drone along the decking. I want to put a small pond in this area for birds, insects and frogs to use to help keep the wildlife as diverse as I can. I don’t want fish in it as not going to be big enough but in the centre I need it to be deep for a small pump to put a small fountain to keep the pond aerated. I think my wife wants flowers. Trouble is we have deep rooted weeds which are near impossible to eradicate. I send some pictures to see what you think. 👍

Good morning, 8.40am here now 14c/57.2f high layer of cloud with greyish layers of high clouds below. Very calm, a bit like the calm before the storm. I did very little yesterday, felt tired. My wife at 1pm said I didn’t look well. I went to sleep about 5.30pm and awoke at 8.45pm. Grabbing a coffee and took it back to bed. My wife was asleep so I didn’t want to wake her. Went back to sleep for a couple of hours waking at 1.15am and have been awake since. 👍
