hi , i was wondering this similar mash - bfrost link , but i wonder if you can emit objects in mash and convert them to mpm cloth while appear in the scene , its easy to use the dynamic mash to emit and convert them to rigid bodies but how could convert them to ncloth or mpm cloth , ncloth i think is not possible since need a one time creation and start frame , but bifrost maybe have other setup to convert them while generating the mesh? thanks for cool videos!

I discovered how to "make editable" on the correct nodes. Bifrost works in mysterious waves. I got it all fixed, thanks again!
I wish you could put up a course whereas you teach people how to use bifrost and ease to advance courses. The community of Bifrost growing really slow compare to Houdini community :(
Good point, and it's happening for several reasons. Lack of good advanced tutorials and documentation is one thing, but Bifrost being present solely on Maya also doesn't help - it should be brought to 3ds Max, too.
@@F10F11hm barely anyone teaching it, and those tutorials from Autodesk channel itself are kinda confusing AF. 3ds Max has all the love from all third party plugins for all kind of fx works... bifrost pretty much is useless to it.

im a maya user , but about this kind of particles stuff even if tried bifrost for example grains sand simulation , its so incredible slow that even if for me houdini is a bit scaring to touch , i go there and same grains simulation is fast and happy to work , i would love can click play in bifrost and see happily how grains move but its.......slow as hell................. i wonder whats the reason , bifrost calculations just use cpu in a way will never be faster?

no it's not. There's a reason NOBODY is using bifrost and everybody is using Houdini.
@@twist6020 you don't know what you are talking about, this solver is more advanced, it's a new tech.
yes it is, and once you learn how to use it it is even faster to setup than houdini. but since there isn't much tutorial you may need to spend more time studying it your self for achieving different effects and as for why you don't see many people using it, well autodesk do pretty much 0 advertisement for bifrost, so most people don't even know what it is capable of. for example it was the first to use sparse solver way before houdini but they didn't advertise it so only us who uses it knows about it, or right now the fuel system and combustion solver that it uses is quite revolutionary and accurate, something that wasn't possible to do before because it would be very heavy, but they managed to make it so fast and easy to use but again no body knows about it.
so for example in bifrost you can actually choose your fuel (methane, buthan, propane,...) and the result of the explosion or flame will be according to your fuel, in other solutions if you want blueflame you use a gradient that goes from blue to yellow and just apply it to shader, while you can do the same in bifrost you also have the option to compute the blueflame, so the blueflame is actually parts that really burns well and blue, there are also other things like water vapor, soot oxidization that can be quite unique and accurate. it also has an amazing viewport quality
