Join us as we chat with Landry Major about Keeper's of the Westt at The SE Center for Photography "My childhood summers were spent on a family dairy farm in Nova Scotia. Waking at dawn and herding cows alone in the field, where the only sounds were the birds waking and the gentle murmurs of the cows. The smell of fresh milk and fields of grass were the touchstones of my youth. The barn where I ...

I think I had watched this before too. But it was still a pleasure to watch it again, there is so much to learn.
Absolutely love your work. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and art!!
😍
Interesting comparison between Black and White technology (traditional film/paper) and colour work (digital). I’ve only seen the first few minutes and I’ve already learned a great deal!
Very nice to see! Such a great photographer artist, and teacher!

Very interesting talk, thanks for making it!
Thanks for watching
Hello, I had a question. Do they have any accounts to teach at UA-cam? or to show their work?
I don't believe they do, sorry
Very interesting. Though I have done two of Doug's workshops and consider him a friend, I learned new things about his practice, how it differs from my own, and why. I enjoyed this immensely. My one comment is that I would ask that the moderator prevent viewers from participating in the conversation until there is a break for that from the speaker. I found some of the active, real-time comments disrupted the conversation in a negative way. Perhaps if I had seen it live, as I wanted to but, auwe ,could not make, I might feel differently. But it is a thought for how future sessions might be done. Kindly, Diana Nicholette Jeon
Really enjoyed this, thank you. Grateful that you made this available for everyone to see on UA-cam, so much to learn from Mr Barnbaum!
I was extremely fortunate to meet Professor Bill Gentile in person. He trained a carefully selected team of us in Backpack Journalism and storytelling using appropriate photography skills. He has great wealth of field skills and huge storylines. His ability to share experience can only be felt even by generations yet unborn. "WAIT FOR ME" is a GIFT to the world and a must read for. Bill Gentile, l say, THANK YOU FOR CHANGING OUR LIVES.,,, Kwamee Kwame.
Oh, Jane... So interesting to hear your story, and see the early work. Touched me deeply.
This was a very interesting presentation. The work is incredible, especially the photographs made from multiple negatives. Regarding the abstract piece, I hope you don’t mind me using your comment about honesty and truth, it is the perfect come back for people who want to know what they are seeing in an abstract image.
Thank you very much for this video! Very important to those of us who can't make it to Greenville!
That's why we do it! Like you, we have participants from all over the world. Glad you got to see it.
Thanks for all your hard work, Michael! Congrats to all winners!
Thank you for making this video! It was fun to see from all the way in Portland, Oregon :)
