Let me see if I am tracking with you. You have a line of custom hats that differ by the design patch used for each hat. Your question is how to get Shopify to change your inventory count for each color of hat on each listing. Correct? If I am on the same page, my first question would be to ask if you are using variants?

Depending on the platform, most of these sites do not make it easy to switch. Sure, there are some eComm platforms (Weebly, for example) that allow you to export products but not pages. Wix isn't necessarily being any more difficult than other page builders, but it certainly does not make life easy for us.

Thanks for writing. I don't disagree with you on sample size. My restaurant clients are amazing, and I am still working with them on other projects. I run the ads to get the results they want. Sometimes this means I get a larger sample size. Sometimes not. I rarely, if ever, recommend traffic ads or engagement ads. If you want sales, go for conversions. Kim, I apologize for the delayed response. I, too, have fallen into the trap of accidentally creating an automated collection when I really wanted manual. I have not found a way to convert from one to the other. Sadly, I have lost a bit of time having to recreate these for myself and for clients. I hope you were able to find a better solution.

Gabriel, thanks for writing. Let me make sure I am tracking with you. I will answer the question in 2 ways. 1) IF there is a Manufacturer's Part Number, it is typically supplied by the manufacturer. Some mfrs are kind enough to give this to you while others make you figure out something on your own. 2) Not only is each product assigned a unique number, there are times when each variant is also assigned a unique number as well. I hope this helps.

@@trueorfalsecrypto I am not familiar with CJ Dropshipping, specifically. When I have worked with drop shippers in the past, they are typically pretty good at filling in all the boxes for me. In a pinch, I think you are on the right track -- use the SKU. If the SKU was provided by them -- not something you created -- you are probably safe. Good luck.

Thanks for writing. In the example I showed in the video, we did not enter any data for the barcode. Naturally, if you are running a Shopify POS and you are already in edit mode, it would not hurt to enter the barcode.

Good question, Josie. I would say it depends. If you have a casual drop ship relationship where you phone or email your order over to the target company, then I think you are safe to use whatever SKU fits your operations. However, if you are using a company that has an app that allows you to chose from their catalog of products (this is a very common approach), then their SKU is typically the key item that ties the product to their fulfillment operation. If they give you a SKU, I would say use it without any edits.

Where are you seeing the alert? In Google Marketplace?
