What does blocking them do?
It helps so that your granny squares are not wonky and not square like. It helps to shape them the way you want. She did not mention this in the video beat make sure to wet your granny squares so that they stay in place and give it time to dry

Hii, I have a quick question: Is it better to sew the yarn ends in before blocking or after? Does that even matter? Or does it maybe come apart if they’re already sewn in and cut of? Thank you xx
Honestly I think I it better to sew the loose ends after blocking because if you sew in the loose ends and then block, the ends may come undone or become loose. If it is done afterwards, you can easily sew in the ends without any movement:))))))
