Europa Park Voltron Nevera 4th Row Left Side POV May Evening 2024
Ist es möglich, dass ein Zug den anderen überholt auf der Drehweiche? Wahrscheinlich lässt das System das aber nicht zu haha Wäre aber lustig, wenn die Züge plötzlich in einer anderen Reihenfolge auftauchen. Is it possible that a train can overtake another train on the spinning platform? The system probably won't let that happen haha It'd be funny if the trains suddenly appeared in a different order though.
wäre wohl schon möglich, denke ich.
@@theme.park.videos Hmm…
@@theme.park.videos Stimmt voll Kann man ja ne Fertigdoku machen XD
Hey excuse me!! I have a question, what did u do to film at valkyria in Liseberg?? I really want to film me and my family on rides.. i really hope u can answer as fast as possible what u did since where going there soon…
hey. I've written to Liseberg before I visited and asked about onride filming. They do check your socials (YT, Insta, etc.) because I don't think they'll allow general public to film. I was also accompanied on the day by the marketing manager from Liseberg for all filming. It might be a long shot, but I suggest you just write to them and ask.
@@theme.park.videos I guess u must be popular to film videos.. Well thats tragic since i have no followers or videos.. I really think they should just let everyone film like in grönalund. But thank you for a fast answer.❤️
it's really different from park to park. Some like Phantasialand allow no filming onride at all, Europa Park allows it everywhere, some only with permission or after they have checked the equipment. Of course safety is always paramount, and it should always only be allowed with the correct equipment. There are still lots of people filming on coasters with their smartphone who don't realize how dangerous this is. So I can understand parks that have a strict no-filming-policy.
anyway, have fun at Liseberg... it's a great park!!! :)
Wow volcano looks a lot smaller than I remember ./s looks very fun though
Kinda reminds me of a Vekoma STC without the inversions
yeah, it sits nicely betweeen the suspended family and thrill coasters from Vekoma (and has thankfully nothing of the bad SLCs! :D )
1.45 is Epic 😂 nice shot
Hello Chris so new to checking out both your UA-cam channel as well as your Instagram account (yesterday) Wodan Timbur Coaster same coaster manufacturer as Wicker man but even more faster but then again ive yet to visit Europa Park, liked this video plus subscribed
hey, thanks for the subscriptions, really apprechiate it! GCI really do some great coasters, Wodan is my top-woodie, and I also love Troy at Toverland. Hope to get on Wickerman next year, it sure looks the part!
Those orange lights are migraine inducing :/
haha... you don't even realize during the ride! :)
I think im gonna ride it this year too!
sounds great; have fun!
Is it just me, or does this brand new coaster looks a bit jolty...? Other than that, looks amazing!!
It is a little bit but most of Coaster enthusiasts over exaggerate how shaky it is. It’s very tolerable. But it’s a prototype model so of course it’s not gonna be perfect the first time
@@pegalex7319 depends on train / seat and row - some are kind of smooth, some are really rough and giving headache - but overall a beast of a coaster <3
agree with @pegalex7319 and @MigrainManX. It really depends which train and seat. All the rides I had on the inner two seats were buttery smooth, it's the outside ones that sometimes feel very rough. But yeah, tolerable, not uncomfortable.
@@theme.park.videos worth noting that this ride is a prototype so...
yeah, I know... future models can only get better.
I was at Liseberg yesterday🗿
it's such a great park, isn't it? Would love to go back!
@@theme.park.videos I loved it, I had a great time!
I remember back when it opened, it had more ominous music and some things were more interactive. I remember that they did a competition right when it opened that whoever got the highscore by the end of the month (or year), they would have won a trip to New York City. I must have gone on it opening day, it was slightly overwhelmed by it since they said that they spent over 1 million euros on it, which if I can recall correctly was the most expensive ride on the history of Italian theme parks (maybe it didn't help that before the opening I went to Disneyland Paris and my favourite ride was the Buzz Lightyear shotting gallery one). But lo0oking back at it now, there's still some charm to it and they did put a lot of effort and craft behind it (especially if you compare it to the Minions Blast "ride"). Might go back to Mirabilandia one day just to see how it is in person again. Also there used to be different TV screens with a Professor explaining the virus and how to harvest it so that you can find a cure (the guy's face appears in the laboratory but back then he would talk to you and he appeared also at the end before taking the picture, congratulating you on the success of the mission)
thanks for the detailled info. I really enjoyed the ride as well, but you can see its age. I always find it sad when parks spend a lot of money on a ride, and then neglect it. Just keep it clean, see that everything works, and maybe a bit of paint here and there, and it would be a different story again.
The scenery of the buildings outside is now half-destroyed, last year there was Windows XP desktop on the monitors... This year we seem to be doing some improvement work.
good to hear. I hope they also have some paint left for iSpeed... this ride definitely needs some TLC.
@@theme.park.videos yeah, it is. But I'm guessing because not a lot of people go on it. After opening day I wouldn't say that it was empty, but the queues were shorter than expected. I think the only reason guests do the ride now is to escape the heat (it's very ventilated inside if I remember correctly)
@@TapeSan1 Really? Windows XP in 2024 is mad, lol
🎉🎉
Le meilleur !
vraiment!!!
This looks great!
it's a crazy ride, especially the launch!
Cool pov looks fun to
Thanks, and yes, it is! :)
This looks absolutely awesome! What a launch! Short, but really great!
never experienced anything like this before... a launched chain lifthill. Absolutely crazy!
Just taking out a whole jungle.
true! :D You don't really have a laser point to orientate, and the targets are hard to see, so it's just more or less wild shooting! :D
This ride is hilarious. A safari with semi-auto handguns and you just fire nonstop. It's super American lol
it's also very dark, you can't hardly see the targets, and you don't know where you're shooting... so wild west it is! :D :D
Honestly this looks like fun. A lot of stuff in here.
we had a good laugh! :D
Awesome ride amazing themed Alton towers needs this get rid of galactica 💩
I'm curious if and where the next of these coaster models will pop up!
That drop is insane.
the fact that you can't see any of the track layout from the outside adds to it!
Coud you also bump other people if you wanted 🤔🤔🤔
you could, but you shouldn't... it's not a "classic" bumper car, more like a go-kart-race. ;)
That boy is such a cutie...I hope he got a second ride! Thank you for sharing!
I hope so too! But I'm not sure if the dad was up for another go! :D
Looks like it completely mutilates the track with that speed god damn Also, I wonder; How long was the queue for night rides across the park?
Wodan is a speed machine, and it only gets faster at the end of the day! Queues were actually alright. The last weekend of the season tends to be quieter, and with EPs great operations, the wait times are never too long.
@@theme.park.videos Thank you very much!
It truly is amazing what MACK rides gas managed to make here.
definitely! A world class coaster.
Where is everyone? Loved the its the a snall workd knock off
It was a Friday, no holidays around, so yes, it was very quiet. And I did think the same about the "small world" :D
Looks like a nice, quiet ride for us old folk who have nothing better to do!
I enjoy these rides... means I can rest my old bones for a moment! :D But it comes with the added risk of getting soaked (and the last drop on this one really delivered!)
Why is this ride so janky?
well, it's a Gerstlauer! :D
the bright colors and rhythmic machine noises are surprisingly satisfying lol 👏🏻
yeah, it's a strange sensation...
I don’t get the point of this ride. Lol
well, it does what a madhouse does. This was actually the first one Vekoma built, and has - in my opinion - the best soundtrack!
@@theme.park.videos when the ride has a good soundtrack it makes it enjoyable lol
The transition is so cool
some cool elements on this coaster.
what is the camera thx ?
GoPro Hero 10
I went on it yesterday , we were stuck on the bit before we got flung backwards for 10 minutes due to some sort of technical difficulties
seems the problems still exist. :(
We were there last Thursday, the most intense rollercoaster we've ever been on! I felt mildly concussed for an hour or so afterwards. It's very cool though.
Are they still incorporating the voting aspect of this ride? Or is it now forwards all the time? Just wondering
I queued for the backwards ride, but it went forwards, so I guess it does somehow still work.
Nope.
oh well... you're missing out!
What's the point of the turntable? Why didn't they just made a u-turn, like the other parts of the track? And why did they waited so much before the exit block?
A track switch is needed to have the double launch :D if you want to have multiple trains on a double (or triple) launch coaster you need to have a track switch. As for why the long wait, probably some hold-up in the station but I don't know.
@@duivelducky Is it necessary to have double launch?
@@Peti817172M yes it is
the wait at the turntable was actually due to a hold-up at the station, as @dulvelducky said. Normally, you don't see another train on the turntable. If you watch one of my other onrides, you can see the train leaving before the next one goes onto the turntable.
@@Peti817172M no, it is not necessary. You can definitely elongate the track with "continued launches" (that don't part the track into sections), but running 7 trains on the same track requires some kind of "stalling" operation if you don't want the ride to get too long. They have somewhat limited space for attractions and probably the turntable was the easiest way to manage all kinds of issues. But mainly: How would you implement a backwards launch (one of the main standout points) in a continuous track with 6 other trains running it the same time?
Hi I’m your 600th sub
hey, thanks so much for subscribing! I'm currently on another trip, so my answers are a bit delayed. But stay tuned for a lot of new orides coming soon!
cool
thanks!
looks so bumpy as people keep saying
it's really hit and miss at the moment. But you can get smooth rides if you're lucky and pick the good cars!
How come second train rotated counter-clockwise and your train rotated clockwise ?
Because otherwise the wires would get tangled unless they use some sort of slip connection where it can keep rotating indefinately.
Because its a circle. You always end up correctly
I don't think it has to do with wires tangling, but to wear it evenly
No it's indeed nothing to do with tangling, it's to make alignment very easy, as you can just have hard stops on both ends of the half turn. Most quick switches have a hard stop on both ends so it can align quickly. I think theme park science made a video explaining how quick switches work, you can check it out if you're interested!
thanks guys, for all the explanations. I was also thinking that it was because of the tangling.
Looks like the ride is a bit rough
Maybe ride a arrow dynamic coaster first It’s just the camera I’ve seen better recordings of voltron
@eltororyan
The rattle looks shocking
it's a bit hit and miss with this coaster; hope they'll get the rattling on some trains sorted.
Die Bahn ist einfach nur Wunderschön❤
das ist sie wirklich!
Pretty cool how thats essentially 3 block zones.
yes, it's a very clever design.
yeah its really sick, Did you know there are actually 11 on the hole track. Its really well made. They can run 7 trains even if theirs a traffic stop and still be fine.
@@deanfrankhuisen7756 no waayyy. That's awesome. Where'd you get that info from?
@HumanStateOfEmergency I got it from el toro ryan😅
the auto programme recovery is impressive to watch, great it can recover itself in some instances.
yes, they really thought this design through!
This sort of happened to us today, only with 2 trains though.
from what I've heard, it happened quite a lot during the opening weekend. Don't know how it is now.
@@theme.park.videosI guess there’s just a lot of trains and a lot of technology going on.
sure is!
why didn't it go up and down before the first launch
probably broken
@@mackbook01that could not happen because it is programmed into the ride so if it was broken the ride would be broken
Probably unaligned and needed to reset and recalibrate the trains position.
I guess they can switch it on and off independently as well. It would really be a design flaw if the ride would stop when the trick track is not working.
Im gonna be honest after riding it the first time i assumed it was one of those affects that would be too problematic in the future and would probably be turned off eventually. Just seems like its more trouble than its worth.
Honestly seems like you could lose a hand to some of the trackside objects on this ride, such as... 1:02 The metal struts on the left. 2:07 The camera on a pole on the left.
Do you really think a rollercoaster made in germany, opened in the year 2024 would not consider one of the most standard safety tests of the last 50 years before opening? ...
yeah, it's all safe and sound... no one would risk that in these days. Security measures are more strict nowadays.
@@Benethor I don't know... I mean... those metal struts around 1:03 look extremely close! Plus they always advise riders to keep their arms and legs inside the ride. Time will tell I guess.
@@Benethorbe nice. Lol
