This is not to be mean, but it’s entirely your fault for not being diligent. If you hear of something egregious, insane, too good to be true, world conflict, really… any news at all… you need to do some level of research to confirm. Ik a lot of people complain about AI stories and blah blah blah but there have been countless cases over the years of misinformation and disinformation alike. The internet, nor AI invented these things. They did not coerce anyone into being malicious. People do that on their own merit, and on their own terms. Some people in this world want to cause chaos and disorder and, more so just be a POS human. You are always supposed to be skeptic, and diligent. Or else the world will eat you alive. That’s how it always should have been. That’s how I’ve went through 35 years of life. Reading, paying attention, meditate from time to time. The world will still spin tomorrow.

People have to stop expecting information from the media, of course you can get SOME but neither the nature of media nor the intrinsic nature of truth and lies allow it to continue for long. THE MEDIA doesn't exist for the purpose of spreading truth nor even for the spreading of information, the media exists to make money. It will tell the truth if that aligns with making money but that kind of situation must be very rare due to the nature of truth and lies. TRUTH exists in secret because it generally loses value if you spread it before capitalizing on knowing it. Truth loses it's value the more it spreads. LIES are useless unless they are spread. Lies generally have an agenda and that agenda is achieved by the spreading of the lie. Lies gain value as they spread. The media spreads truth and lies but more money is made by telling lies and always will be due to the intrinsic nature of information. Many will disagree at this point because they feel they have learned great scientific truths from the media but I attest that they are simply unable, or most likely unwilling, to challenge the information given them and it is no different from any media acquired information, it is mostly lies. I look forward to calm and well written challenges of my logic, it beats watching media
