Thanks for posting. Always enjoy your perspective. I don’t think anyone though should be too hard on Cheltenham for the loss. Plymouth is a Championship team, & CTFC at best is rebuilding. I will give credit for the opening day win against Newport County, & hope for a win Saturday against Grimsby… As great as they would be to win, I don’t care if they lose all of the cup, non league games. The only benefit to cup games I see at this point is to have a huge challenge to test their salt as it is. They need to focus on righting the ship, developing players, & finding a formula for for success in league 2, & hopefully again soon in league 1. Thanks again. Cheers for now. COYR!

Thanks for the commentary, very insightful! Seems to me CT needs to use this coming season to get some structure, & stability. Then a real push for promotion the following season. But as you say, & many have said for years, they need to spend, & if they don’t have the funds look for investors. You’re right there is certainly plenty of money around Cheltenham. And if that doesn’t work maybe a bring & buy sale could be organized.? Cheltenham is a great town with a great bunch of supporters. The town, the supporters, & the players as well deserve a club that doesn’t appear to be on the verge of imploding season after season. COYR!!
