@user-jh2hk5mh2z in the hotel section, select break room. Basically for residential buildings ashrae standard 62.2 is used. You can make a user defined space type for it froam ashare 62.2 or just select break room of hotel/motel as told you earlier

@tarekali5287 if you want to enter untreated air, then why to add it in calculation. And if you want to add treated fresh air. Then you can set user defined in ventilation column and enter the required cfm or you can enter that cfm in exhaust column . It will be indirectly consider exhaust rate=same amount of fresh air intake

@sheblalameri1342 when you create automatic zones and then uncondition that zone space. The zone remains there but the spaces moves to unconditioned space. Delete that zone in zoning tab and your issue will be resolved. For a a video follow me on LinkedIn

While making zones, unconditioned spaces are marked. From this , hap understand that which space is conditioned and which is not. And take partion wall and partition celling according

And for first floor, it gives options of at grade, or have basements ...like that.... but for spaces. You just have to mention it on zoning and hap will mark partions accordingly

In the space model, while creating zones. Just mention unconditioned spaces. Hap will autopick wall and ceiling partition accordingly. In zoning tab, we make zones and also select unconditioned spaces

Sorry you didn't get my question, My question is if I am doing any office space load calculation and the space is on 7th floor and all the below and above floor is condition, how can I assign this condition.

Upto my understanding, we have to create 3 levels. Place the same floor plan on each level. Create walls and spaces for that floor plan and copy paste it on other floors. At zone tab, make zones for the levels. Then create individual system for each level. At alternatives when you generate reports. Just select the middle floor. Which is basically your 7th floor and you will get load calculation of 7th floor which is in middle of two conditioned floor
