I don't think you can straight up drink it at 70-80 degree you'll burn your mouth definitely so don't do that. But yeah about bacteria and that stuff, I think that depends on the water you use in the boiler. I'd wager most bacteria die off at like 80-100 degrees. The button on it is most definitely to keep the water warm for a while yeah.

I was able to print from my iPhone, but I think I was connected to the same wifi though as the printer, with my iPhone.

Oh never thought about that, thanks for sharing there must be some truckers / other on the road workers out there looking for a good experience and compact size for printouts.

No my base doesn't make any noise when it's plugged in. Sounds like there may be a faulty wire or something wrong maybe with the grounding of your electrical socket. Please ask from someone who knows about electricity of this, be careful not to get shocked.

I've been using it since the publishing of this video, still using it, works like a charm! Absolutely wonderful piece of machinery. Modern electronics usually break around 2 years (planned obsolescence), so I'm sad to hear this may be true in my case as well, but let's see. So far I'm really happy with my Smeg and it's working absolutely perfectly.

Fyi the sound can be shut off by pressing the temperature button on the right for about 5sec until it beeps

The lights seem to go off after it hasn’t been used for a while.

Do u have to turn it off and on or can u leave in on?

It waits nicely if it runs out of paper. Then just put more and press OK on the top controls. I’ve managed to put like 10-20 without much wobbling and shaking but I would say it can’t handle much more than 50 max prolly. I’ve yet to run out of ink after having it since this review. No replacements needed.

Knowing me , I will always have a spare cartridge as a safety net.

@@angelagiv2426 some parts are smarter to make from plastic. Perhaps its not a cost saving action but some design point? It does have electronics in the bottom.

@@angelagiv2426 Because of profits and bad design. The old Smeg KLF01 kettle has a severe design flaw where the interior plastic lid comes off after time, and steam will leak and potentially cause burns. It's also very heavy for a kettle, which is another design flaw if they're targeting female consumers.

No idea brother man. I would not use another portable power bank unless you use the normal mains plug to power this. Risk of explosion and malfunction is not worth it.

So far no its still working great with great ink.

@@elveni thanks man you saved me from buying extra color ink I don't need, and yea this printer is good , better than the epson wf-100 which you can almost only use ink bought directly from epson , it doesn't recognize or prints with faded ink when you buy refurbished ink

Not really nah, but it works still just place it on a tabletop or some location with a bit of space, or just snatch the paper when it shoots out. I wondered the same thing you did after purchasing, but it turns out I’m not as stupid as I thought I was 😊

Yeah same here man, I was happy it wasn't an overly convoluted story but instead had good throwbacks to the older ones and some possibly intreaguing lore tie-ins. The culture match with the tribalism of the native americans was cool too.
