    When i was a kid, i remember my grandma, and my mother, planting a lot of sweet potatoes, some are brought to the market, and now that am a senior and no longer work, i also plant sweet potatoes and potatoes too, and it's really fun!

    I think my starter was a dud cause the only thing I’m getting on top is a liquid. It never bubbled and I’m on day two

      Don't quit, it could take several days to a week or two of the beginning feeding to get a good starter going. There are a lot of factors that could contribute to how fast or slow it gets started. <3

      @@jessienewton7600 you can always try :) I use the brown rice flour for feeding and different flours for making the bread. Let us know how it turns out it you do the gf bread flour :)

    Remember U can use the leaves for greens from the sweet potatoes so don't chuck them away... Good to see things are coming one... Does anyone know want happen to the boy calling out for help in the RV in the raging river ...love to know as it goes through my head all the time...othets were in the RV...😢😢😢😢

    My mom and step dad used to be your neighbor I think 6ish years ago... They moved into downtown Lauren's just past the old bi lo and just before the Library when they sold there place in gray court I'm glad to see yall fared well.

    I'd dig a post hole, put in cement and a sturdy post, maybe about 3-4 feet out from the siding. Tie the bush at several places to the post. I would avoid putting holes in your external siding. You're amazingly industrious and resourceful around your property. I admire you!!

    Start keeping a few gallons of gasoline in storage and stock up on bread then put all them in the freezer. You did a good job still but after that you can do it better the next time that happens. Take care.

    Hi! I just got this I’m going to start my starter soon. How did the actual bread turn out when you made and are you still making it?

      The bread is amazing! I have some dehydrated starter but we have a gluten sensitivity so we have switched to a gluten free sourdough. But this bread was sooo good. Here’s the recipe I used for it. ua-cam.com/video/Am7rtEkF4Xo/v-deo.htmlsi=3soQZx96yIvU9BVc

    So you keep milking for 4 months of their pregnancy or you dry them up one month before putting them back with rams?

      I plan to put the ram back in with them in November and continue milking until a month before they give birth as long as they keep producing that long. So I would dry them off by 11 months from the last time they gave birth. :) Hope that helps!

    You know you can leave you ginger in the ground. They will come back every year if you mulch it well. Mine is up and doing well. would you be willing to share cutting of the butterfly bush? do you have any tree cutting companies in the area that deliver wood chips? Your garden is doing well.

    I bred some copper maran hens, hatched them, raised them, they got to the first egg lay and a freaking fox ate all four of them in one night. Devastated.
