This Weather is Great! But is it Great for our Plants?
This is so cool! The transformation in your tea garden was super great! And your elderberry tree growth! In no time at all it will be ginormous again!
I can never get over how green summer is when it's the middle of brown sad winter <3
1`we will have sheep’s mile this next spring. Thank you for your incredible tutorial.
I appreciated the reality shot of the rest of her kitchen. A lot of times on youtube everything is kind of pristine and well.. frankly bunk. I like some reality.
Udder nonsense 😅 but tasty
❤New sub here❤I'm not far from you, I'm in Piedmont SC❤My grandparents and ancestors are from Laurens❤I used to be a mail carrier for city route one, south Harper and Jersey/Academy ave area❤It's so good to see hometown folks on the tube❤Good gardening❤
So nice to meet you!
Superb
Thank you :)
What about mealworms?
It's hilarious that you are still getting so much from your garden! Mine is so dead!
When i was a kid, i remember my grandma, and my mother, planting a lot of sweet potatoes, some are brought to the market, and now that am a senior and no longer work, i also plant sweet potatoes and potatoes too, and it's really fun!
😮 Unbelievably amazing video 😮 You have a new subscriber 👍
I have so many baby zinnias already...I feel like next year will just be a zinnia patch! Nice ginger harvest!
I think my starter was a dud cause the only thing I’m getting on top is a liquid. It never bubbled and I’m on day two
Don't quit, it could take several days to a week or two of the beginning feeding to get a good starter going. There are a lot of factors that could contribute to how fast or slow it gets started. <3
I bought gf bread flour not brown rice flour do you think that’s okay?
@@jessienewton7600 you can always try :) I use the brown rice flour for feeding and different flours for making the bread. Let us know how it turns out it you do the gf bread flour :)
It is my first time on your channel and I have just subscribed. Very nice sweet potato harvest. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the good work. All the best on this journey.😊
@@myhomeandgardenchanneldwel7777 so nice to meet you! 💚

Your legs must have been on fire after that!

Fantastic🎉
Thanks! Awesome job!!!
@@thegunguymartin wow thank you so much!! How are you doing?
🤯🤯
Bruh that's not 4k that's over 8k
Wow, that's quite a large spider! I truly enjoy your videos, especially the small farm and your approach to simple living. Sending cheers from India!
Remember U can use the leaves for greens from the sweet potatoes so don't chuck them away... Good to see things are coming one... Does anyone know want happen to the boy calling out for help in the RV in the raging river ...love to know as it goes through my head all the time...othets were in the RV...😢😢😢😢
That is so tragic! I haven't found anything about it yet. 😭
My mom and step dad used to be your neighbor I think 6ish years ago... They moved into downtown Lauren's just past the old bi lo and just before the Library when they sold there place in gray court I'm glad to see yall fared well.
I must have just missed them, I moved in here in 2020. The area around the library is absolutely beautiful!
I'd dig a post hole, put in cement and a sturdy post, maybe about 3-4 feet out from the siding. Tie the bush at several places to the post. I would avoid putting holes in your external siding. You're amazingly industrious and resourceful around your property. I admire you!!
Thank you! 💚
That compost pile will be amazing!
Start keeping a few gallons of gasoline in storage and stock up on bread then put all them in the freezer. You did a good job still but after that you can do it better the next time that happens. Take care.
So glad you're ok, friend! And I hope you get power back soon! Ellie is a good encourager
@@TheBabcocks her sweet soul is shining through 😘
Hiya, please keep us updated. Please stay safe.
Hi! I just got this I’m going to start my starter soon. How did the actual bread turn out when you made and are you still making it?
The bread is amazing! I have some dehydrated starter but we have a gluten sensitivity so we have switched to a gluten free sourdough. But this bread was sooo good. Here’s the recipe I used for it. ua-cam.com/video/Am7rtEkF4Xo/v-deo.htmlsi=3soQZx96yIvU9BVc
Hope y'all made it thru the Hurricane Ok. I'm your neighbor in Gaffney and we got slammed but we are fine.
We are doing ok, just no power. No major damage though! Glad you guys are safe. 💚
So you keep milking for 4 months of their pregnancy or you dry them up one month before putting them back with rams?
I plan to put the ram back in with them in November and continue milking until a month before they give birth as long as they keep producing that long. So I would dry them off by 11 months from the last time they gave birth. :) Hope that helps!
Your first video on making butter and yogurt was great! Now I'm getting close to weening time so this is perfect!
I think you can also husk the corn and let it keep drying so it doesn't mold
So many beans! Weren't those volunteers too? Anna hates picking beans because she gets "bean rash" and all itchy. So do I but I just live with it
Yeah! They were just ones that had fallen off last year and we just poked them in the ground to see if they would grow.
Thanks for the tour
Thanks for coming along 💚
That is such a clever way of making homemade ice cream without buying an expensive ice cream machine, wow thank you . Cannot wait to have my very own sheep some day. Lord willing. May many blessings and mercies come upon you and your beautiful family.
@@truthbtold6118 thank you for your kind words 🤗
The lambs get so big so fast!
I just planted out rhubarb this morning. Hope to have healthy big plants by next spring. your garden is doing well. Happy Gardening!
You know you can leave you ginger in the ground. They will come back every year if you mulch it well. Mine is up and doing well. would you be willing to share cutting of the butterfly bush? do you have any tree cutting companies in the area that deliver wood chips? Your garden is doing well.
What kind of chickens are these? I wish mine were so pretty!
Thank you! These are Easter Eggers :)
Thank you for sharing! Cute little helper. 🌸🙏🏽🌸
Hey I’m from close to Lauren’s sc.
I bred some copper maran hens, hatched them, raised them, they got to the first egg lay and a freaking fox ate all four of them in one night. Devastated.
Oh no I am so so sorry!
@@WildHeartsHomesteadSC it was so heartbreaking. Hopefully next time we have property we can make it more fox proof
Love seeing your garden! We didnt even make it to the back garden last week!
Get some bt for keeping the army worms away.
