@WalshsGoWildInOz surprisingly no. We haven't used it for extended periods of time off grid, for example, for a casserole or anything. We mainly use it for dough and for less than an hour at a time. We haven't seen any issue with it. I would like to do a video soon where we test the usage.

@gibbosroadtripadventures it really is fantastic. We only recently got ours. I've been envious of my sister in law for ages and we finally took the plunge. You definitely need to use it alot to make it worth it. It's a lot to outlay for an appliance that's for sure.

@ I love kitchen gadgets & appliances but haven’t justified the price tag of a thermo mix yet - if I could find one from someone that doesn’t use theirs much it might happen. Always dreaming. 🙏🏻😴

Gotcha. Got mine a little different with a Blue Sea isolator switch for everything and a Vitron 1000amp Lynx fused bus bar for loads. Thanks for the reply.

@oztravelandfood sounds like there will be no limiting or voltage drop on that set up!

May need to keep an eye on the isolator if I increase my loads but runs cool at present and is rated to 350amps and cannot see me going above 250. My new battery box and MB31 cells have just landed from overseas so will be having fun building it as my 2nd backup in the 4x4. This will give me 870ah capacity.

@PeterKeys-he9gl almost! We are charging at about 90a from solar on good conditions but AC charger is 120a. (not that we have ever used it as we have not plugged in since we bought it!!)

Might be a question for enerdrive specialist themselves as I know that the solar controllers can handle more solar that the Max input but not sure about the dc to do chargers.

Essentially yes it does mean faster charging. We have 12v, not 48v. Yes we have a smart alternator 👍.

@ashleymalzard2865 We didn't actually go into the caravan park itself at Cape Hillsborough, just went for the Kangaroo sunrise. Apart from the caravan park amenities themselves there wasn't alot for the kids to do at Cape Hilsborough in terms of playgrounds etc. Seaforth has a waterpark and Playground next to the caravan park.

Thanks. You could absolutely get your Harley and swag into the zone 1 area, and possible some of the zone 2 and 3. The road passing through all the camps is fine it's the individual camps that get sandy the further you get in which you can pick and choose what suits you.
