I enjoyed the new Kings of Leon. It sounds like their older material. It reminds us why we love them. I think The Smile is fantastic and a bit underrated with the general public. I feel like it is what we get when Thom and Jony are allowed to play around and have fun.

For “The End,” they said once how it was poetic to start with The End, and that song is the song that sounded most like OBTN, so it was like a continuation of the last album while also ending it, then starting to this whole other tone for the rest of the album.

Dance Little Liar is such a masterpiece both lyrically and atmospherically. The whole song feels so menacing, making the threat in Alex's words feel even more real when says the final "and the clean coming will hurt". I absolutely adore it, but The Jeweller's Hands is incredible too. Although my list might have looked different this is a tough one to rank. Humbug is such a brilliant album!

My dad took me to see her at Rosilde Festival in 22 and I was blown away by her energy and unique, playful, somewhat self-deprocating songwriting. It took me by storm and I've been a fan since. You should definitely experience her live if you get the chance!

I really liked the album. Although I went in expecting more energetic tracks like RnB and Paving Slab and was a bit disappointed to find most of the tracks are slower like you said. Saying that it grew on me. The lyrics are pretty good too and the band use some nice time signature changes away from 4/4. I'd give it a 7 or 8/10

I'd say it started with come around sundown they lost their edge a bit, the albums still good but there's a clear change in their approach.

Def their best work since because of the times. 8/10. However I wish they had given the album a different name. I think it has mislead fans and critics as it just not all fun and fast songs.

Ballerina Radio is the best opener since Knocked Up.

I don’t think there ever was a downfall. Mechanical Bull is actually one of their stronger albums I’d argue. It’s a great alt-rock record with a country edge to it. I think this album represents who they really are. Their style. Walls was the complete opposite. That is their worst by far IMO. Side note: Work on Me is a bonus track that has to be one of my favorite songs from them.

Split Screen is worthy of being a single because its the best song on the album imo - I cant stop playing it. Although ill admit its not a typical single.

The only two songs that are singles or mustang and nowhere to run. That’s why they have music videos for them. Split Screen and Nothing To Do are not singles.

for me algorithms is mid, call is dogshit, and this one...well i kinda dig it, but damn the highs of underdog, club foot, lsf, are looooooong gone, i hate how sergio's voice is now, in tracks like u-boat, nightworkers, La fée verte and many more he sounds beautiful, what the fuck happened, i wish we could get tom and karloff back
