Do that separate the husks though?
no, winnowing is what you're thinking of which comes after threshing. most people with small operation will pour into a separate bin in front of a fan so the fan blows away the light chaff and the berries fall into the second bin. might have to do a couple times for best results and you'll still have to pick a few pieces of heavy chaff out of the finished product.
