Absolute rubbish. Clearly all the things that will “break” (as the title says) are common on most cars. The great clueless so called experts still claim that Alfa electrics are rubbish, even though they’ve been predominantly Bosch systems for approx 20yrs. My daughter has had her Mito for almost 5yrs now and not a single thing (apart from the odd bulb) has gone wrong, worn out or fallen off.

My 1998 T Spark was pretty reliable all the way up to 170,000 miles and only gave up because I was broke at the time and couldn't afford to keep it maintained properly. It was an absolute hoot to drive and there aren't many sports cars that feel actually sporty apart from the MX5 and at least the GTV wasn't a lazy Jap rip-off of a Lotus Elan, it was legitimate and still turns heads. Busso V6 is too heavy, T Spark is the better more fun option.

I bought these cars!!! One around 2017!? One rides like a dream! The other from New York! Rusty underneath!!! I’ve got one won’t crank! It’s been sitting for a while! I think the fuel filter is clogged! It drove a short distance! Was running smooth , then started acting hesitant…. now won’t fire up! Jus starter turning engine over!🤔😤 I’m goin for new fuel filter next! Please Lord let that be it!

My 2000 ml 320 has more problems then imaginable but that said its still dependable, the transfer case chain thunks under power. The transmission slips under sudden acceleration forcing me to pull over & turn the engine off for a few seconds the restart it & it works again... The sunroofs leak bad on these, you have to clean out the pillers plastic tubes which can be intensive with removal of front outter body panels. The radio doesnt work as my mb vin check showed i have navigation + radio & yet no radio, etc...navigation is not needed with google maps on cellphones or Bluetooth for ear buds. Widshield washer arm for passenger isnt working, thats a nasty job cleaning out a rubber gasket. Locks all go crazy using central door lock, drivers door must be locked unlocked with key. Oil leaks under front engine...unknown as the hood has no pole or hydraulic means to keep hood up... Yes it needs lots of work but for $700 Canadian it was the only thing on facebooks Marketplace that even worked...still works with 168.000km on it & no driverside window or door handle as previous owner had no you tube to show him how to remove door panel to fix window off it track... So happy i got this 4x4 winters coming.

I have a Yeti 4x2 2.0 TDI changed timing belt and water pump after 50000 km. Now temp gauge not working. When scanned, it showing P0118 coolant temp fault. One of the mech advised its because of ECM issue. Confused! Everything else fine. Even emission normal. No dark smoke.

I own mine 2.2 petrol for 6 Years and drove it 60.000km. No big damages. Sometimes some strange fault Codes, but if you own DiagBox you can check everything. Now with 164.000km on it its time for new front wheel bearings and I will replace the timing belt. Clutch is still the first. And I forgot to mention the exhaust. I replaced the rear muffler and did some welding on the rest because its a mess to get an replacement exhaust! Its one 3Meter piece for over 1000 Euro. Because the 2.2l has another exhaust than the 1.8 and 2.0l

At 86k front air suspension gave up, got it replaced. So far so good. I just love it, especially the way it makes you feel comfortable, I cannot think of replacing with anything else. I have the 2017 A8L sport 4.0T. Perfect balance of power, beauty and comfort. Wouldn’t recommend if you do not have additional budget for occasional repair cost. To me it is worth every penny.
