The irony here is that even though you hate the hovercraft, heavy characters like Krunch perform the best in it. You actually had an advantage using it, which is probably why it sounded like all of those courses were a breeze.

What blows me away is the number of YT channels who've produced different genre remakes of "I Glued my Balls to my Butthole, Again." So far, I've found versions in reggae, 90s, Early 00s electronic, death metal, and opera. Of course, the best remake is by Bobo Bojangles, which was very close to the original but infused some "beef" in a special Bingo Club way.

Tapping A is an even better idea.

Darkmoon Caverns man, I struggled beating it even as Pipsy, it took me more time than all other tracks combined to beat when I first unlocked T.T. :Absolutely insane you did it as Krunch!

Frosty Village must've been painful though. TT is straight up faster than you and on certain tracks the most effective way to beat him is to use a character who can use a much tighter route than the one he takes - to make it fair, his ghost sometimes shows signs of having taken the weaker boost on purpose. I've only ever been able to do Frosty Village one with Tiptup or Pipsy. Absolute nightmare :P

Little known fact: Mayor Breslin was at the airport at the time. He witnessed the act, then reportedly cancelled his flight right then and there. He later tracked him down and played the flute solo for the song. He was actually told "No thanks", but made sure it was in the song anyway. When the singer was asked, he only responded: "OH, GOD! NOT THE SHADE!"

After playing this game for.more.than a decade, I can answer the title before watching that I was never able to beat the CPUs with Krunch + the code to make it harder. Without the code it is possible, but then after the code you enter the Hovercraft levels... Holy hell, Crunch simply can't make a single turn without almost hiting 0 km/h. But without the code, iirc, I managed to beat the game.

In general with Diddy Kong Racing I found the difficulty to kind of just fall of a cliff the moment I understood how to green boost correctly. Then again I didn't use Krunch.

Rare were vile for making the coolest characters in this game unplayable. Krunch who is basically unplayable and Wizpig who is literally unplayable

You're not using the boost trick correctly. In a car, as soon as you touch a zipper, let go of the 'A' button for 2 complete seconds. In a hovercraft or plane, let go the 'A' button for 3 complete seconds.

Honestly Krunch is one of my favorite characters cause he sucks so much. I would use him just to flex on my friends 😂

Unsure if you know but you can save time by hitting start as soon as you see the words 1st place appear on screen then go to return to lobby, the game will register as a completed race. like the split second it appears it's registered
