This is one such example and just a glimpse of his larger vision. He represents India in the international global communities, his network as vast as the ocean. He fits into all classess be the old & experienced/ young & enthusiastic learners. He can meticulously pull and extract knowledge from the learned members and spead it to the future generations. This questionaire helps all classess of people, crisp n with clarity.... we need more & more of this kind.

Wonderful talk. The significance of the ocean studies are explained with simple words. The role of ocean in climate change, ocean current variability in the Indian ocean, incteased frequency of cyclones, uniqueness of Indian ocean, monsoon system, ocean acidification, coral bleaching, significance and limitations of satellite data, significance of subsurface measurements through moored buoys and argo floats etc explained nicely. Very informative. Would be beneficial for all youngsters those who are interested in ocean science.
