Yes the effect works on element imbued weapons! And it boosts both the physical and elemental damage of your melee weapon.

Poison can be put in any order for the same effect! All buff timers will stay at their max value for the duration of the poison and if you had some other debuff already active before applying poison their timers will go to max aswell. I wish you luck with farming! The chest piece is decorated to look like the "Curse Star of Heijan Armor". :)

Thank you! Yeah I do agree it could be a bit longer, like maybe 20 seconds before any spell duration increase. And yeah 2 seconds is not that game changing, but it can still give you a few extra hits with your buffed weapon. I feel like there are not too many crazy special effects that you can have simultaneously like in previous games and since a big part of the damage this build does relies on having a weapon buff active I would still recommend it! Not mandatory by any means though! :)

Yeah technically you could put all points from water into fire and metal and then change the water spell for a fire spell. However that leaves you with one less debuff to inflict. Metal is not mandatory for the build either but since it focuses on putting debuffs on an enemy I really recommend keeping metal since poison makes it so that the timer on any other status effect does not down until poison has worn off. I will soon also make a build focused on the subtlety of fire grace. :)

It is a part of Hong Jing's set which you can get by raising her Oath level to 10 in reinforcements. :)

Yes! The same goes for ranged weapons. Set bonuses on all equipped gear will always be active. However for special effects, only those on the active melee and ranged weapon work. :)

You could try this build but level wood instead of fire and water for almost the same effect. If you only want to use 2 virtues you definately want to stack other debuffs onto enemies for the Principle of Lingbao effects full power. You could use Heavnely thunder and the Lightning Bolt spell instead of the 2 spells I am using in fire and water. I will soon make soon make a pure metal and also a pure lightning build using their respective "Subtetly of X" sets. :)

After all other elements are there you should have enough time to restack posion for constant tick on all other elements. Is the idea behind that but Lingbao adds the option for straight melee damage after procs.

I like to use poison later on as it will also reset the timers of the previous buffs, mainly the elemental ones. Although you have a good point there as well! You could poison first to lower the fire defense to proc fire easier and in return lower the water defense to proc water easier. :)

Thanks a lot! :) One build I am actually worknig on rn is a fire build in NG+. A sort of glass cannon build utilizing the Red Emperor's set. The 6 piece bonus can give you up to around 20% more damage for martial arts and with fire you can also use the "Overpower Burst" for even more damage on your martial arts. On top of all this you get "Berserkers Might upon deflection" as a 5 piece bonus fore even more damage! If possible I would go with light armour for this build to stay below 30% equip load for the lowest possible cost on martial arts and wizardry spells! :P

things only stack if they have a number or percentage - so no it does not stack
