Why don't you call this kata and the following one by their correct names- Fukyugata Ichi and Ni They are both from the Matsubayashi Ryu karate style
"Fukyu" is a little dicey to have people saying so we adapted it to an alternate version.

This is just how we do it and it's here for our students to help them remember the moves. We aren't trying to be the official authority on anything. We are good with you teaching any method or version you want for your students. All the best!

I watched the videos on your channel, especially the one from these Renshi (hahahaha) 4th Dan. He doesn't even know how to play a decent Tsuki, let alone Mae Geri. that's just bad. You can't give something like that a 4th Dan, let alone appoint him Renshi. There wouldn't be anything like that here in Germany.

Having studied under Shimabukuro Eizo OSensei, I am familiar with Anaku アナク, I am not with this, Anankyu. While the pattern is closely akin to Anaku, the hand movements are reminencent of Hakkatsuru.

Form is OK but still need to slow it down more. Let your mind fully appreciate and your body feel what you're doing. You're moving like you want to get it over with. The "needles to the Sea bottom" sequence was nearly non existent. In karate terms, think a spearhand downward to the floor in a cat stance. Lots of cool selfdefence in this routine if you take time to really analyze each movement. Try performing this routine 3 consecutive times uninterrupted and get atleast a good 9mins out of it.

There is no formal name. It's just known as the Beijing 24 combined movement form.
this is called the yang 24, simplified version of the original 108 forms, he has followed the correct sequence although left out a few connecting moves, takes years to learn it, lifetime to try to master it, well done, every day is an improvement

my karate is different it ends up with both parts of the belt hanging perfectly down but its tricky to get right
