Is Fiedler actually pushing the woman who is carrying the flowers aside to get by her ?
Do you have the whole show?
Not sure but I would have to check - I have many more Match Games than Tattletales in my collection.
@@ThePastRediscoveredArchives I know the 1982 is out there.
Roy was one of the greatest. Most of those blue bloods didn’t know what was going on. But they sure liked it. RIP, Roy.
My folks had Pops tickets and took us to see this. She just about blew the roof off Symphony Hall. It was beyond amazing and an unforgettable event.
Steve Lawrence sang "Did I Ever Really Live" from this 9/17/1967 show. Do you have that one to post? Steve and Eydie were inducted into the Society of Singers on 12-7-1995. It was a big show with Steve Allen emceeing. Do you have anything like that?
The late Bill Martin gave that announcement of the Falcon Crest preemption.
Unique accent.
I am so obsessed with the Meg/Evans scene. What a dynamic and engaging pair of characters to play off each other, certainly not what you would expect from 1953.
Oohbaby💃Yeahbaby🎶
Thanks. Very sweet.
Ha fa parigh poytno ad eik.
Memories are amazing - I've long since forgotten these Saturday morning commercials, but seeing them again brings back every detail. Captain Kangaroo is never forgotten. Thanks for posting !
Old Charley Weaver, too! SHAZAM !
Rich is great. He did the Jack Parr which few remember, like Dave Garroway who may have preceded Mr. Parr. ( Today Show )
NBC 1981
“Murder She Wrote will be seen tonight right after the Neil Diamond special, Hello Again. And will be back next week, at its regular time.” “Right.”
Nash was a brilliant man. Ingenious rhymes out of left field. And pointed poems that made you laugh, but also made you think.
What was the special program that preempted the CBS Tuesday Night Movies?
cool
I love soap operas on cbs and abc daytime
I wonder what it would sound like if you added Van Halen with Orson Wells?🤔
This is a great routine for an impressionist.
Yikes. Anorexia!! That dress is a pillow case! 😮😮😮😢😢😢😢😢😢
You posted two great videos from this particular show. Do you happen to have Steve Lawrence singing "Did I Really Ever Live" from this show 9/17/1967?
I'd never seen this episode before. What a wonderful way to close out 2024. Happy New Year. Evans doing his Gale Gordon routine and out-camping Meg is such a hoot.
Thanks. Hadn't seen this before. Happy New Year.
Oh my god!! @14:00 for the next minute and forty five seconds demonstrate TRUE LOVE! ❤️❤️❤️ Rest in peace Steve and Eydie.🙏
Andy Williams Is The Best 💯,May He R.I.P
Any new of Steve and Eydie? Merry Xmas.
This was when America was normal ! This was some of the funniest stuff in the world ! True entertainment from some of the best entertainers of all time . Flip Wilson too !😂
My great teacher and dear friend John Holmes principal oboist. Lessons every 2 weeks at his home in needham, ma. I miss him until today. He made me into a fine oboist. Worked at symphony hall while at NEC of Music and saw this character perform in 1968

It is hard to watch with the video being one beat off from the sound.
No one did dry as well as Uncle Milton
No one did drag like Uncle Milltie
Serendipity! Mr. Astaire introduces Count Basie and at 10:12 The Count played a tune I knew I recognized. After a bit I realized It was the piece of music used for the Chuck Barris Game Show, "The Dating Game" when host Jim Lange was about to introduce the home and studio audience to the 3 bachelors or bachelorettes who would be vying for the contestant, prior to the game beginning. I can still hear Mr. Lange saying "...And Heeeeeere they arrrrrrrrre!" as the turntable spun to reveal the 3 challengers. The song is called "Fantail" and I'm sure I found the Count Basie recording that was used on the game show. ua-cam.com/video/grpAgM1o8kg/v-deo.htmlsi=zov_wgoAZJP51DzJ
Astaire was simply the greatest (no offence meant to Gene Kelly...)
Thanks for uploading this long-lost intro. The movie came out in 1984, but I used to have a VHS recording of a CBS rerun of it from either 1991 or 1992 with this exact CBS Special Movie intro playing before it. Always got chills when it went from George C. Scott whispering “Humbug…” and then to the fade in to the film itself, with the ominous bells and choir playing. Great stuff.
Bob was looking rough here…hard to believe he would do another 10 years of specials after this one…
Methinks the VHS didn't transfer well
1994 I believe
@@robertblackiston4784 It says 1996 Bob Hope Laughing with the Presidents was his last special. His last public appearance was 2000 I believe.
A chorus line
Does anyone knows why Eydie was in the chair?
Astounding Roy plays so fast so accurate I can hardly follow the music I am so sorry Roy and Tima S never met up to play the impossible Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement together.
Wow, the all-seeing eye inside of the pentagram. 👁
"Grace? She died over 30 years ago." National lampoons Christmas vacation
$18 seats.
Anymore please
The whole special please
Never heard of her
That wig , oh that wig.
This is great - any chance of seeing more of this episode? With the Newharts, Martins and Lawrences, it must be hysterical!
