In 2023 a US convoy was attacked in Anambra. A few weeks ago Supersport Journalists were attacked in Anambra. A house of Assembly member was kidnapped and killed in Anambra. Agberos litter the streets of Onitsha and Awka. Yet the govt feels regulating market hours is its priority. Shouldn't security be paramount? And clean organized markets that run not just 8-6pm but to 10pm? Why do markrts not have central power supply and conveniences like toilets and plumbing and organized waste collectuon? These are low hanging fruit. In this era of expensive fuel, solution should be an orhanized city bus system with routes and schedules. Not building a 10 storey hotel in an ICC that is barely used and whose grounds are overgrown with weeds.

Why would you build the entrance right on the expressway creating traffic congestion? A big facility should have TWO side entrances. Look at the design of Ikeja Mall, Polo Park. Solution Fun City should have a secondary entrance from Arthur Eze.

You ran to Abuja to do your daughter's wedding out of fear bcoz the state you claim to be the governor isn't secure; now you want people to come out on money just to please you and you Fulani slave masters..... Okpo.....

Rather than direct the venom to the perpetrators of the dastardly acts, the governor prefers to channel the threats to the shop owners who are the victims. Mr Governor, stop treating the traders this way. They are not the problem. They are the victims who are closing their shops out of fear. Use the same energy to go after the "unknown gunmen" who come out to terrorize the traders who dare to open their shops. Stop weaponizing the peoples' fears against them. You are a university professor. You should know better than some of your governor colleagues who do not have the pedigree of being learned and knowledgeable.

The aerial view gives the best view of the menace. Alarming! Alarming! Alarming! Curbing it demands the involvement of the efforts of the Federal Government initiatives on combating natural disasters in partnership with Sustainable Developments experts and Anambra State Government. Congratulations to Governor Soludo for facing this challange. Anambrans as citizens and good loving people should help the environment by thrash selection, recycling and disposing soil friendly thrash in the respective places mapped out by the Government. This is very important and must not be overlooked as huge erosion carries whatever it sees to wherever it goes. This is a threat to the overall Iboland. The Governor should use his good offices to carry out a campaign with all media to inform Anambrans on the importance of collective approach to handling and disposing thrash. Even those who disobey his orders should be fined. May GOD continue to bless the good people of Anambra and Igboland in general.

Mr Governor you need to draw another security master plan for Anambra state with the lastest technology like drones and CCTV cameras make it a law that every market should have atlist Twenty CCTV cameras mountained at verious spots in the markets, and there should be a building some where in Awka where drones can take off every night to fly around Anambra state each night and collect data and surveillance of activities in the state with the operation monitored by a team with televisions each drone one television and one operator to gather informations round the clock in the state

But these shops are not government properties, Sir. Even if they were, this people pay rent on them and have every right to do with it what they like. The problem is insecurity. If the people feel safe and secure, i don't think you will struggle to get them back to their shops. But as it stands, i am sure no one is confident to follow those commands you issued.

He should know that this shops are owned by private individuals and not government , they should have legal rights to open when ever they want to open,he should focus on the real problems facing the state and not his own private interest

Did you not tell them you will release Nnamdi Kanu? Where is the Kanu now? Stop embarking on lazy ventures that will take people's lives. Can you protect them if they are attacked? Can't you use the allocation you promised to your people to build Dubai? Tomorrow, you will tell them to stop promoting Peter Obi - your brother - out of jealousy. I am truly impressed with the current Governor of Anambra State, Professor CC Soludo GFR. What I really don't understand is why our people tend to overly critise the governor's efforts to develop Anambra, while they said nothing under the Obiano administration who basically plundered huge public resources.

@CCSoludo Mr Gov. Security is a delicate issue. No one wants to be used as a bad example/statistics. To give confidence to people there needs to be a massive security employment for Anambra. Met police for London city has a police staff of 40 thousand. Meanwhile the whole of Anambra has how much? Each market in Anambra needs a minimum of 30 highly trained/ professional and well equipped security officers on each day shift constantly patrolling the market for visibility and building confidence, be it vigilante and/or Nigerian police daily. This is a big budget department in other serious countries. But in naija, it's politics. Even with state police, Anambra needs at least 60k police staff for a population of 8 million. We can't just wish for good security.

I just hope you mr soludo you have provided enough security for the people you politicians in the east should please stop playing with the life of the citizens Look at my state Anambra state I can't recognize it anymore I just hope the provided securities will be there every till evening when market closes
