Chapter 10 - Bob Hanna
Been firefighter since 1978. Worked for Lehigh acres fire rescue for 33 years. Volunteer now. Building models since I was 10. 1972 or so. Yellow trucks belong to MFD (my fire dept) lol. Now have almost 300 trucks built, 62 engine cos, 32 trucks, and a shitload of special vehicles.

John, was from the start, one of the leaders of model fire apparatus builds. His 1/32 scale work using just the basic parts of the Aurora kit, then adding to them, with wooden ladders & aluminum turned parts! The detail to all the equipment & gear, stoded on the running board, during that time. John was never afraid of tackling a different rig, east or west coast! 👏👏👏🚒👑

Ambitious work. Very detailed. To think the inspiration for some of these may still be in some rural firehouses around the country - some re-furbed to be front-line equipment.
I discovered David's work on Facebook about a year ago, I delight in watching his WIP posts, as well as the finished pieces naturally. A true master in scale modeling.
David's models rank right up with some of the old masters of fire apparatus model builders. His eye for detail is true amazing!
