The Beatles changed music forever and shook the world 🌍 and wrote all their own songs
Thanks mark, have liked it ever since I first heard on me and the shadows lp. Been a fan since 1963
Cliff rocks
❤🙏
Koszonom.❤
You have Good Test
Touching and full of Love.
JET HARRIS legend . and hes right . the screaming was nothing the BEATLES invented . as PAUL MCARTNEY said JET was called the guvnor at the recording studio . the SHADOWS were immense as musicians . i like the BEATLES TOO .
nicely done
Love it so beautiful song ❤❤
Brilliant
Thank you Mark. An unusual song, and not one I have heard before. Being an upload from you, I have, of course, now immediately added this to my "saved" Cliff list, linked to my own UA-cam account. It shall probably be a slow burner for me, but our Cliff is normally worth the wait, so I shall play it until I know it by heart, albeit his breathing sounds suspect on this one. I was saddened to hear you comment recently, when I was reviewing a separate upload of yours, that you have had a difficult last 12 months in your life. I hope the corner is turning for you. Stay strong, and with my sincerest best wishes, .... Brian, from Bristol.
Multumesc pt postare. ❤ Dumnezeu sa l binecuvinteze pe Sir Cliff
My favourite album of all time just love every song def changed my life heard why should the devil have all the good music at a disco in 1978. Could not believe it was cliff love it
🥹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
Beautiful song. So true! Sung so beautifully, as usual, by Sir Cliff.
Vince Taylor too !
What a Hansom four good men great Band Great men the Best in the Buniness and honest and reliable The Best in The Music Industry ask Rock and Roll loyal fan 44years and still rocking and a rollin love Stan
How were you received, Mark? What was the attendance there?
❤ Thank you for sharing. May God's work continue to touch hearts and change lives. May many believe in Jesus. Only believe.🎉
The closest I’ve been to correspondence with the Shadows was a letter accompanied by two cassettes of his own work and some signed photos from Warren Bennett.
In my opinion the Marvin Welch Rostill Bennett was the ultimate recording and composing time.
Blimey Mark !!! That opening,... I thought for sure it was going to lead into Neil Young's "Rocking In The Free World"!!!! Neil Young and our Cliff, my top two favourite artists of all time,.... and in that order. Still insist I am the biggest Cliff fan in the world mind,... (dont get angry at me,...😁😁😁😁). You have clearly wide ranging musical tastes. What do you think of Neil Young? I responded to your last upload of you and your band, suggesting Cliff record an album called "Cliff Richard sings Neil Young Love Songs". It would so open up Cliff in the USA, the sheer audacity of it. Love your uploads Mark, stay safe and well. Kind regards, Brian, 65, Bristol.
It’s wonderful to see this. You sing really well. Thank you ❤
Thank you so much!!
Very nice. ❤
Thank you! 😊
Larry Norman. Almost a hidden treasure. Deserves far more acclaim. He has it for sure amongst his peers, but deserves a wider audience. Nicely done, Mark.
@BrianVincent-gz2dq Thanks so much , yes I totally agree , some absolutely Fantastic tunes he wrote and sang
@@mrdreammakermarkcunningham5903 👍.

Beautiful song lovely version by Cliff 🌹❤
The Small Corners album is my favorite gospel album by Cliff Richard and then comes Now You See me Now You don't. All great songs!
Lovely love it ❤❤
The sincerity of this great man inspires deep respect.
Glad to see you now rate the "I'm No Hero" in your top three, Mark!
Hi Mark. Just running through your "five minute" Cliff album reviews. I listened to your comments about the "Silver Album", for which the youtube upload does not provide us with an option of the usual "Comment" box, to enable us to reply. No intent on my part by cheating, but contrary to your statement, I am sure our Cliff released "Golden Days..." first, and that Bucks Fizz did not release until AFTER Cliff ??? I say this, as my younger brother loved Bucks Fizz, and, unless it is a "Mandella effect", I have a strong and vivid recollection of telling him that Bucks Fizz did a neat job, but not a patch on Cliff's version. Bucks Fizz were fairly new at that time, and I don't think they released it until 84 or 85 ?
I can remember seeing Cliff on TV for the first time, on the long-running variety show Val Parnell's Sunday night at the London Palladium, and being distinctly underwhelmed, wondering what all the fuss was about (I'd been reading and seeing quite a lot about him beforehand). The screaming from the audience baffled me totally. Why were they doing it? I'd have been about 9 or 10 at the time.
One curious point that no-one else here seems to have noted is that the Beatles, Cliff and the Shadows were all about the same age; in fact the average ages of the two acts differed by only about a month. The difference lay in their musical apprenticeships. While Cliff and the Shads were playing coffee bars, holiday camps and other tame UK venues, appealing chiefly to people their own age (and having the good luck, through being London-based, of being discovered while still pretty young), the Beatles were honing their talents in the tough red-light area of Hamburg, learning how to "mak show" for a considerably older and rougher audience, and for far longer at a stretch. Less capable musically than Cliff and the Shads they most certainly were at first, but that German experience transformed them into a power house that not even America could withstand for long.
I met Jet ,, it was weeks before he passed, what an enjoyable few minutes I had with him.
Greetings Mark, thank u for sharing this awesome song.. amazing u sang it a Acapella..so difficult without music backing..did well..sounded lovely! Beautiful blessings!
Thank you so much

The road crew man at the end looks familuar
Hi Mark. As a 65 year old Catholic boy I get what you mean about the religious songs hitting deeper than the pop/rock releases. THE ROCK THAT DOESN'T ROLL came up on my UA-cam recommendations a couple of days ago. Live concert version. Not in my top ten religious Cliff records, (nor is FROM A DISTANCE), but I just loved your selection. Cliff genuinely helped me get my faith back. He has written some great records, and I feel he is seriously underrated in that regard. Not heard number 5 so shall check it out. I shall be having WHEN I SURVEY THE WONDROUS CROSS as my funeral record, the acapello version from the SMALL CORNERS album. The timing of that album release, being the same year as the release of GREENLIGHT, was questionable, but it is a superb album in its own right, and I turn to it when feeling low. Thanks for sharing, Mark.
Thanks so much for your feedback ... You will find " Where You Are" on Cliffs Album "My Songs" ... it's on Spotify
@@mrdreammakermarkcunningham5903 Thanks Mark. I shall check it out shortly. Looking forward to your next "favourites" update. Loved the most recent albums faves of yours. So glad I'M NO HERO made your top 3. I have it at 2nd, just above ALMOST GUARANTEED, but just can't see 31ST OF FEBRUARY STREET being toppled. Enjoy your evening. Kind regards, Brian.
You must check out Faithful One! You will love it! ( Something’s going on)!
Hi Mark. I don't own a TV or Laptop, watching everything on my mobile phone, despite small screen. Certainly you have a diverse, healthy, mix of music away from our Cliff. I worship Cliff to an embarrassing point of obsession, yet will always have Neil Young as the greatest influence musically in my 65 years. I started typing this comment to ask if it was you singing, but then you introduced yourself and the band, and the penny dropped! I was taken aback at your genre of music in this upload, as so far adrift of our Cliff, but you did a cracking job, so thanks for the share. PS: I would still love Cliff to record the love songs of Neil Young and finally hit the USA big time. Stay well Mark. Kind regards, Brian, Bristol, England.
So pointless. They're both what they are, that's all - fabulous forever.
Csodálatos ❤
Thanks Mark. Not heard this before. Is this a Cliff composition Mark? Very nice song, regardless.
