How to talk about achievement during interview if we don't have experience but only internship knowledge of projects which is also essential but how to brag better, self advocacy in that situation - to negotiate better salary and not fall into recruiters trap of telling us that we're inexperienced and fresher so have to work like an all rounder as it happened with me in past..

The reason the first 2 years of college requires at least 1 year of arts education is because arts are an important part of understanding the world. Anyone claiming to be an engineer that hates arts probably didn't even go to college or didn't learn what college was designed to teach.

I liked the section from 24 - 30 mins in where you described the realization of how short term addictive behaviors seem more like a coping mechanism to avoid pain, and that when you stopped those behaviors it opened the range of emotions you experience, both the positive and the negative. And how it's normal and okay to experience all those ranges of emotions.

Could you explain what one should be doing strategically in order to increase value & influence without being trapped in taking unwise steps or staying around losers.. Engineering graduate learns a LOT of theory . In industry it is CRUCIALY important to understand that a design problem can NOT be solved by simply plugging numbers into the ready-made equations theoretical equations. Real problems of design involve others factors beside the parameters of ideal equations. For example EE designing an op-amp with low level inputs signals has to sometimes tend to oscillation problems, interfering pick-up signals, cost of parts problems, packaging problems, ...many more that become obscure electrical contact resistance etc. That is why a new graduate MUST copy the an old-hand behaviors and REJECT some of them.

An engineer complained about market not buying his godlike products. He payed me for a consulting and the obvious reason was that he was making zero marketing. I told him what to do in order to build awareness in potential customers and he replied he didn't want to put such an effort because his products are godlike and if people is unaware of that it's their fault. He finally stated he wants to market products without doing marketing at all and blamed me because he sold none. Well I understood that it's assholes choosing to become engineers in order to build their own mental world and not the other way around. When you hire an engineer check his mental health first.
