Yeah it's annoying. What I ended up doing was buying the picolyte to spawn more rupees, then buying mysterious shells from the shop. There's picolyte for finding mysterious shells as well, but I think the rupee picolyte was more effective for getting shells.

There are notorious bugs in Minish Cap, especially in the EU/PAL versions. People have ran into missing heart pieces before. I think they stemmed from the Kinstone fusion with a Minish in Northeast Minish Village, the one you have to swim to. Some people had to beat the game entirely, then load up the save file. This allowed them to fuse kinstone pieces with this Minish and unlock their final heart piece. It does stink you have to beat the game sometimes to overcome this bug, but you could also pick up the Mirror Shield while doing it, which might be worth doing it and beating the game again with a full set of upgraded equipment.

I play with Retroachievements, so this is a Savefile I play where I have beaten the game and all Kinstones connected. So I already fused with that Minish. Still I can't find this Heart Piece. I thought it was the Simon's Simulation Minigame, but it does not give me anything other than Rupees or Fragments. Really Frustrating because I don't know what I can still do about it.@@thelostwoods247

I loved Skyward Sword for the Wii, but replaying it for switch just didn't age well for me. And the DS Zeldas always felt like they were missing something. And with ST, not being able to venture through the land, but just glued to the rails really felt off putting for THE adventure franchise. It wasn't a bad game, though the meme makes it seem I hated it. I really did enjoy it, but just much less than the others.

Hm. I'm not entirely sure, but if its before you get the Wind Element, you might still be able to save the old man from the ghost. It seems obtaining the Wind Element triggers the next sequence. Hope this gets to you in time

@@thelostwoods247 so I did fuse before the wind element but it seems he's gone entirely after as I'm currently at dark hyrule castle, I'm definitely planning on doing another run of this game sometime after I finish TOTK and I'll definitely be looking back at this guide it's one of the more detailed and helpful ones imo, thank you though and have a good one (I'll leave a sub I don't remember if I am or not already lol)

The Minish Cap is a fun and quick game to replay, one of the more charming Zelda's in the franchise imo. Just a heads up for your next play through! There are a few unfortunate glitches in it that can prevent further progress in certain side quests. One that stands out is the Kinstone fusion with one of the farmers to further the Goron sidequest breaking through the cave. If you try fusing Kinstones with him, but don't have the proper kinstone piece, there is a glitch that can prevent fusing with him after the initial failed attempt. To be safe make sure you have all three types of Kinstone pieces (I believe he fuses blue Kinstone pieces) before trying. TotK was a blast! Have fun!

Wow that's odd. This game has a few bugs but I've never heard of this one. After trying to reenter the shop and resetting the console, if it still didn't show up, honestly I'd start a new save file since it's relatively early in the game. Double check to see if you didn't already buy it and forgot about it. If the rupee color next to the rupee counter is blue then you have the first upgraded wallet. If its green then its the wallet you start the game with. Sorry I've never come across this issue

Hello! Quite a few people had this issue as well. I'd say continue the story as much as you can to trigger more fusions, but a few people have stated they got all the way up to fighting Vaati and the fusions still didn't show. This might be really annoying to do, but if you still can't fuse with the Minish after reaching Vaati, someone said they ended up beating the game, going back and the fusion was available. It might be a development bug. This can be a bummer especially since the game is already beat, but if you have the full powered four sword and you still can't fuse, you may have to beat it, then load save and load it to get the heart piece, and you can get the mirror shield at that point and beat it again. I hope this helps

I've noticed Minish Cap is very tricky with the timing of unlockables. It might have something to do with which seed your file has, which determines the random Kinstone fusion encounters. You shouldn't have to upgrade any bomb bag to upgrade to remote bombs, as you just need to be able to fuse Kinstones with the Village Elder to have the bomb Minish swap normal to remote bombs for you. This should be available after you get the white blade, as you have already. However if you can't get the Village Elder to fuse with you, the only thing I can think of is advancing the story more, whether its making it to a new dungeon, beating the dungeon, or upgrading the Four Sword to do so. Try coming back to the elder to fuse with after you beat the Fortress of the Winds.

what's got you confused? If it's the parts when entering the Great Maku Tree, let me explain. This Oracle of Ages playthrough was the continuation of the Oracle of Seasons game. Meaning I had beaten Oracle of Seasons and put in the continuation password at the start of my Oracle of Ages playthrough. So anytime you see Link enter the Great Maku Tree, its for the code system to do more sidequests. When you see the screen circled in white light, that's the quest being carried out in Oracle of Seasons. You'll notice Link has more hearts and better items during this time, as I had previously beaten Oracle of Seasons. It was a bit different to do the sidequests in the continued story since you have to carry out the sidequest in the other game as well.
