Do water bottles stay in there ok without being cinched down with those straps? I go hiking with my dog and would carry a bottle for me and 1 for him and pull the water bladder out to carry thing in the main pocket. Its annoying though if your bending over and the bottles fall out. One of my back packs has this issue.
I take everything out of the inside compartment than from the inside push the part that rides against your back out. You will feel it pop out and it gives you just a little bit more room to slide it in
I have an iPhone 14 6.1” It will not fit in the non zippered side pocket. It will barely fit in the zippered pocket but it is not comfortable to wear the pack with it in there.

How's the arch support?
I switched to Treks barefoot shoes and love them, wearing Treks Airro and will never go back to regular shoes.
Is it water proof?
All hail J All hail J, Hey Jay do you think with the bladder full you could get a glock 19 in that main pouch?
Yes but only without the bladder
Bet you could get a model 43 in there no problem.
If only they made a 43 in 10mm@@IDYLBERRY
I have the same pack, and I struggle immensely to get the bladder in when it is full. I was hoping you would show how you do that.

a tip for the lid leak. turn the lid the opposite direction to set it on the correct threads. then tip it in a sink to test for leaks.
Can a 6,6" smartphone fit in a side pocket?
