This is a much better summary than any I have seen! Unlike most viewers, I never read the series, but after hearing about the crazy right turn the author made in the plot in the last books, I didn't renew my Starz subscription. Still a wise decision imo, as I stopped liking the series after season 5. Getting updates like these is definitely preferable. LOL. Thank you!!

The premise for the series is good. Post apocalyptical world, but the execution is terrible. The acting is weak, the chemistry between the characters is non existent. The relationship between Ish and his wife is so cringe and she emasculates him. The story doesn't really move anywhere, and way too much time skips. They don't take security seriously and they want to have us believe they only had one rat infestation, one bear attack and now a lion attack in 14 years?

YOu know what is really dumb? Rip was given the ranch by John essentially, and then John lost it all so Rip is left with nothing. A great speed run in the failing of John Dutton at everything.

Words cannot describe how much I hate Beth. The fact she gets to live a happy life afterwards is just sickening

Did anyone else notice that when the police were talking to the Jackyl and took his phone number, they tried it and it rang behind him in the Airbnb. Why doesn't the police officer give the number to Bianca when she gives her the description?

This whole spin off is a disappointment, why would they show a repeat of Dexter's first kill its literally been shown in season 1 episode 3, and the characters are just cosplaying the original ones, everything feels weak.

Bianca’s character deserved what she got in the end, she was so exhausting to watch. She’s not a badass but pretends to be one. I watched it three times. She was no match

My one issue is I’m not sure the wardrobes match the characters

Bianca died because of her own stupidity, trying to take an extremely skilled killer allive at night in his mansion. I won't miss her. I am glad the Jackal made it. Looking forward to seeing him in the next season.

Bianca was the most disappointing part of the series. She deserved to die. Hope she don't comeback magically in season 2 otherwise I am not gonna watch it God she was annoying 😔

gotta say, thank goodness bianca is gone. most unlikeable 'good guy/gal' i've seen on tv in a long while. it's totally different from the book and original movie, but it was exciting enough. they actually fixed my original gripe with the show in the finale: sociopaths are incapable of empathy/love. they painted his character as a true dual persona that was capable of cold blooded murder in one life, and genuine love and affection for his wife and child in the other. a socio/psychopath is not able to live both lives - it would have been snuffed out by his behavior over time. but the relationships that they do have are narcissistic. the ones they surround themselves with exist to serve them. by leaving charles, nuria triggered his true nature. even though he has to go after that billionaire for attempting to eliminate him and not paying, charles, in his mind, first has to take back what's his - nuria and the child - because they are his 'property.' leaving him is not an option. a true psychopath would either take them and have them forcibly live (enslaved) the way they were under false pretenses or kill them, again, unable to exhibit an ounce of empathy.
