It's a strange situation and of course myself & others have been looking for a fix, but I really believe it's in the programming as it didn't happen in V1.5. is there anything else you would like "fixing"?🤔

@@SimRacersArms Yes sure, searching in the multiplayer lobby is a bit clumsy. Sometimes the search returns only few entries, though it is obvious that there are several pages to scroll, also missing the LFM rows you have registered to. Additionally to the search, the search sometimes takes too long. In this case it is just easier to start a new search. Though this is minor, it would be better to fix the stutters. It seems 1.5 was much more polished. Though closing the browser (LFM page) and other apps seems to improve the framerate a bit

There was a patch just after I finished the stream and all 'release' cars are now available. Performance issues (not all) are partly to do with my streaming setup. I'll be working hard to find a fix ASAP. Also the cars drove so much better with the ffb tweeks I did off camera and I didn't realise I had left 'Stability Assist' on 😤😡

@SimRacersArms I might check the game out again when they add the open world, but currently it just doesnt stand out really, i at least hoped for a better AI but they drive as well as original AC (meaning not well at all)

As I have mantioned in previous replies, the patch that dropped has improved things A LOT and the ffb/graphics/assists tweeks made all of the cars I've re-tried very enjoyable. Will you come back at a later date? 🤔

@@SimRacersArms No thanks, I tried, 45FPS with 9 cars. for comparison: AMS2/LMU 140 FPS. 5 tracks only... AMS2 150 tracks and 200 cars, super graphics. So there is no reason for me to come back. maybe I give it a try at release. I drove 1 hour, no fun. refund!!!. it is better to spend my free time with "finish" games and have a lot of fun. I think I will not buy any more EA games. Time is on my side. 😉

Hey @NonnyRat 👋 I'll have to try the Quatro at Brands to fully understand what the car is doing. However the advantage that the Quatro has over the others in the same class enables you to be 'slow in fast out' (relative) dur to the grip advantage it has. As for power slide 'recovery' do a few practice races and purposly go off (sideways) VIR is good for this - lift of the power slam it down a gear and hammer the throttle whilst counter steering - practice make perfect 👍 Do you have any car/track combos that you've "discovered" since V1.6 dropped? 🤔

@@Barry843 thanks for the great reply, I can't wait to hear what you think. If the cars feel a bit strange with the handling/tyres try deleting your car setups folder & try again. What was your favourite car from V1.5 and is it the same or better in V1.6? 🤔

What track shows how good it is? 🤔

@@SimRacersArms "Old fashion" tracks, i.e. Silverstone 91, Imola '88, Monza '91 or modern tracks with older phylosophy like Oulton or Cadwell.

Love Mosport with some unique challenges. Which is the trickiest section for you?🤔

@@SimRacersArms probably the double right at the bottom of the hill - not difficult to get round, but tricky to consistently get the line to carry speed around.

@@SimRacersArms that can be too, though I remember mosport on iracing having the old gravel traps on the outside, so compared to that it feels easy lol 😅

@@SimRacersArmsdepends.. there are multiple combinaations I really enjoy: - LMP2 at IMSA / WEC tracks - LMP3 (new Ligier) at Barcelona / Mosport - Roco 001 at Ibarra - GT3 / GT4 at the Nurburgring

@@SimRacersArms I've only driven the 'Vette and the Group A Audi Quattro and the Quattro is a real standout for me. The all wheel drive makes it a lot of fun to drive. The only downside to it is it really makes the whole class completely unbalanced. Granted, that is kind of how it was in real life with the Quattro.

Yes, FFB is so subjective & whatever works for you is correct but as you say being open to try 'new' things leads to new discoveries 👍 The 'steering rack' FFB file is very good but on my CSL DD 8nm I couldn't feel the tyres 😞 Link in the description to The Sim Racers Arms Discord & look in 'The Public Bar' 👍🏁
