    No need to worry! The spider plant will keep growing and she'll get new leaves pretty soon! You might need to try and hang the plant up however since a cat that's already snacked on a plant will likely try again! Getting it out of reach is always a difficult task! Good luck!

    Looks like a Tradescantia zebrina. It's supposed to do that. As it continues to grow, you'll get more creepers from it. I have mine all spread out over my kitchen window. Love how the light makes the colours pop

    Did you know calling them babies makes you seem unhinged? They’re just plants and if you think they take anywhere near the care and effort an actual baby takes you’re a clown

    When should I water my succulent just after repotting? And do I need to water my plant immediately or wait a few days?

    How do you know when it is time to repot?

    • @jomostudio
      @jomostudio 8 місяців тому

      Usually every 1-2 years, or when the plant has overgrown the planter.

      It depends on your environment. One of mine took 6 months to root. Others took 2 weeks. It depends on the warmth, sun, and how often you change the water. Personally I recommend rarely changing the water and just topping it off. Plants release rooting hormone in the water and if you change it a lot then it will get rid of it and take the plant forever to root like my cutting that took 6 months.

    • @earlyej3008

      I know for a fact that it wouldn't work with palms, as they're one of the rare families of plants that are unable to do vegetative reproduction.

      Agreed. Pothos propagates very well in water, however, not every plant does. This method won't work on all plants and people need to research what works for their particular plants.

    Will regular tap water keep roots from growing?

    • @iris1567
      @iris1567 2 роки тому

      No not necessarily. Tap water does have some minerals and or chemicals that can stunt the root growth or have stuff like certain algaes that might eat through and kill the plant

      Let the water sit out on the counter in an open container for at least 24 hours before using it to propagate or water your plants.
