Since yours is open, hallway-I suggested that you place a round carpet there. Colors of the metal element. WHITE, SILVER OR GOLD. Then for the SOUTH-DO NOT ACTIVATE IT! 'DO NOT SIT FACING IT' Place a salt water cure there. I hope this clears all the confusion.

Hi, I would really need to do a Feng Shui Consultation to give you a correct answer here. A staircase facing directly at a front door is bad feng shui. It needs certain cures for that specific home. Be very careful when placing mirrors. "I can tell you, do not face mirrors at the front door"
