love the audio smartass
*While i never used the Merchant as a leading archetype (though i hear the evolved form can be broken of used correctly), the fact that you can deal almighty damage for 0 MP is really useful since nothing resists almighty damage. So i would recommend having someone inherit it. Its evolved form has an even stronger attack
Remember, if you really like a skill from a previous class (they don't carry over naturally), you can inherit it in order to keep it. When you rank up your social links, their associated classes can gain more inheritance slots.
We did it!
*The informants in the taverns will be helpful cause they will sell you secrets about the various dungeons, telling you what enemy or boss weaknesses to exploit. *Yeah, the right answers in follower links will net you more magla, but that's it. You won't be bond locked by not getting enough points like Persona. The only things that'll block you is if a rank requires a certain social stat rank (like the Ignitor Lady) or to beat a side quest to continue. *Yeah, I wouldn't use the Magla Exchange for currency. You'll want to use as much magla as possible for classes and abilities, and you can always get money by selling treasure found in dungeons and selling outdated equipment. *The "Spent Time In a Labyrinth" section are other dungeons that relate to side quests (often for bounty hunts). These are good to (a) get money (b) grind for experience and (c) find useful weapons, gear, items and sellable treasure. You'll want to do these to help keep your levels up for future story dungeons or you will eventually lag behind. It can be smart in the future to do some of them BEFORE the story dungeon to get a little stronger for it (looking at the quests shows you how strong they are in comparison to each other). You just gotta be mindful of the deadline
*If you pass a turn, it should only use half. So if you have two turn icons on the second person, you'll still have a second icon for person 3. *The game does NOT end when the MC dies in this game *Knight's Proclaimation is a good skill (don't remember if it makes the character tanky or if Hulkenberg/the Knight class is just tanky, possibly both), plus it also lowers the chance of enemies using attacks that hit everyone and just focus on the user.
Alright, here are a bunch of notes: *Remember, you can inherit skills to other archetypes. If you want a mage with the wind skill, you can inherit it from the Seeker. Mage is also helpful cause if you attack enemies on the overworld with it equipped, you can gain back 1 MP per hit (don't remember if it's unlockable or on by default). You can grind MP on weaker enemies that die in one hit to prevent running out and leaving for the day. You'll want someone to have a healing skill. You'll also have items to give your archetypes more experience if you don't want to use them on the field *It's generally a good idea to teach your party members most classes. They get you small stat buffs and give you more skills that you can inherit to diversify your team. Right now you can only inherit 1 skill per class, but later you'll be able to get up to 4. Also, if you want the end game Ultimate Archetypes for each character, you'll need multiple archetypes at a high level. *Enemies that are 3 levels below you will be killed on the overworld if you strike them (bigger enemies will take a couple hits, but still) *Synthesis skills will be really good when you have more MP and they get more powerful, but not as good right now outside of moments when your back is against the wall.
*You get more turn icons to attack by exploiting weaknesses, hitting crits (these two make it so you only use half a point instead of a full one), or using skills that give you more that turn. You lose some if the enemy dodges your attacks or lose all of them if they block it. All of these are the case for both the party and the enemies. SMT rules
*You'll probably want everyone to have most/every archetype in their back pocket eventually, just to have options for skills for when you can inherit them to your set archetype. You'll get items that can help you raise the archetypes' rank without grinding them in battle
*I think you missed it in the tutorial, but pressing L1 allows you to lock on to an enemy, which also allows you to rush to said enemy when you attack, which is definitely helpful when trying to get first strike or avoid just swinging wildly if you're not facing the enemy. *The Archetypes are a class system. Every character can learn any Archetype and inherit the skills from one Archetype to teach it to another (per character). You'll learn how to do that later. You'll want to tailor your characters to Archetypes that best align with their stats, gives them options/variety, and fulfills roles your party composition needs.
Terrible terrible puzzle
Thank y for help
*Your hang out points for social links don't carry over from level ups. They only work for the next level. *I think you might've missed a Command Room recording if you wanted to check it out. *In P4, another party member social link also involves her not being able to cook
As far as I'm aware, Christmas isn't really a big holiday in Japan since Christianity isn't as big a thing there. I think it's mostly a date holiday there.
You're reaching the end game now. January 31st is the last day
*Junepi's second theurgy attack is pretty neat from a storytelling perspective. *In the base P3, certain social links could reverse if you didn't manage them correctly (mostly the female social links as they'd get jealous if you spend too much time with other girls). For the most part that's been removed in Reload, minus the fakeout Suemitsu one and i think Chihiro still has one
Persona 3 + 4 both had scenes in hot springs where the female party members attack the male party members for being there at the same time (though you can avoid getting caught in 3). 5 skipped this trend until Strikers decided to add the hot spring event back in lol.
If you take a picture in Gwen's office when she doesn't trust you enough to show you the manuscript, she'll get mad at you on social media when you post it cause she didn't give you permission. In your OG playthrough, she was a lot more positive cause she still liked you
You could consider these different timelines and that's how they relate to her old powers. Or something about time and space being connected and that's how she crosses dimensions? I'm not sure what they're going for yet.
If you press the other-world scan button, you can see the world shift points better
*In your playthrough, Loretta pressured you into answering her questions out of fear of being snitch on. If you didn't comply with her questions, she would've snitched you out to Gwen for eavesdropping. Lowering her grades is getting revenge in either scenario if you want to be petty. *You can romance both Amanda and Vinh in the game. There are trophies for romancing either, neither or both
To win the bottle cap game, you need to put it in Safi's candy box
The "We broke up/she died" choice is you determining what choice you made in the first game
*The Episode Aigis DLC does have a new party member if you wanted to wait to do the SEES member ranking. Up to you, though. *You will get to see all your social links at the end of the game, like in P5.
Fk your podcast
*The reason I wanted you to see Shinji's theurgy before Oct. 4 was because you can see how his Persona is putting a heavy strain on him from his eye bleeding. It was a bit of foreshadowing. *Since not everyone in the party has social links, they all get their level 2 Persona during the main story. Akihiko was the first to get his with Caesar. The upgraded personas only became tied with the social links starting in P4. *You'll be able to go into Shinji's room later to get his stuff you had equipped on him.
*The missing person was Bunkichi of the old couple. You saved him.
*That phone call from Elizabeth was that one of your social links wandered into Tartarus. If you don't save them, they'll be lost forever
*You can open the town map from the map select without walking out of the entrance to the area.
*Shinji is a high-risk, high reward party member. He hits the hardest and his skill do heavy physical damage. His theurgy gauge raises faster when he is at half HP. I'd recommend seeing his theurgy at least once. *Using the fragments on the regular floor chests gives you a better chance of getting the great clock to keep your party's levels up.
*Kamiki is the boy in striped outfit in the park. I'm pretty sure he also is only available on Sunday, like Maya
First
*Koromaru has two elements cause in the original P3, light and dark elements only had the insta-death skills, so he got another element to give him more offensive options. The light party member will also have another element. Reload added the regular attacks for these elements. *Can't believe you skipped out on the Battle Panties, the best armor in the game! Lol, but no, it's fine. All the female party members have fan service-y outfits like that.
*TMR, you used the Great Clock to level people up in a previous episode of the LP. You definitely weren't paying attention lol. *Fuuka's stats are just for show. *Aigis is a good party member with good abilities. She just focuses on physical attacks, healing and buffs instead of elemental attacks.
*So in the original P3, the third woman they were scared by was revealed to be a trans woman, so it was originally a trans panic scene. It's obvious why they changed her to being a cult member in the remake. *Aigis is the breakout member of the cast. I hope you like her.
Bro this is robbery unlimited levels i guess
*You didn't check everywhere at the place with the exclamation mark
*Yes, the bosses are based on the Arcana. *Fuuka's Sylphid Aura skill is useful if you use it before bosses, especially the mini bosses in Tartarus which give you a warning before facing them, letting you start those fights with the boosted stats.
*Tanaka gets unlocked when you learn about him from Maya after reaching rank 3. He'll be at the mall fountain. You'll need a lot of money to start. *Your social links calling on Sunday is for bonus points, not for leveling up. If you accept you do lose time for things you'd want to do that day, such as raising Maya's link or stats.
*The rewards for the rescue quests in Tartarus get progressively better as they go, so they are worth doing. Sometimes the people you need to save will be social links, and if you don't save them in time, they will be lost forever, so you should look out for that.
*Yeah, if the MC dies, it's game over. *The Jack Brothers theurgy attack from the MC is one of the more useful attacks, due to its almighty damage and high chance of knocking enemies down, so feel free to use it in harder fights and mini bosses. *To add to my notes from the previous episode. The hangouts with Elizabeth don't take time, so there's no reason not to do them. She's a fun character.
*As you get more Personas, certain combinations give the protagonist new theurgy attacks. Some end game ones can be really broken. *The younger characters call Akihiko by his last name Sanada because he is their senpai. It's a respect thing. *On top of getting some of the supplies on the floor above, sending characters to scout ahead will also show some of the floor so you can check the map to see what's revealed. I think how much they do is based on how long you let them scout before rendezvousing. *Remember, you do have access to Bebe's social link in home ec class.
*Yuko's thing was access to the Mutatsu the Monk social link. You got it. *Ikutski is the advisor of the team. He will get more lore and plot relevant stuff as the story goes.
*This boss is basically a cake walk regardless, due to its point is to teach you Fuuka's scan ability, so it didn't really matter what difficulty you were on anyway.
*You should be able to open the calendar in the menu to see when the next full moon is. *New videos on the console pop up some point after the full moon bosses in case you want to snoop on your party members for small scenes like that. *To hang out with Bebe, you need to join the home ec club. *Fun fact: Officer Kurosawa's VA was Akihiko's VA from the OG P3
*Gardening will be worth it when you get SP options so you can stockpile them for later.
*Mutatsu is in the club, but you need to advance Yuko's SL to learn about him.
I don’t know why I thought wakatsu was ramen :0
*The enemies that get their own floor and are shown on the map as they are are mini-bosses. They won't be taken down in one round and they will get harder as you go. *The enemy models do get recycled with different color schemes. These new variants have different weaknesses *There are 3 types of physical damage in P3. Slash, Bash and Pierce. Some enemies have different weaknesses to those attacks.
*Doing a decent portion of requests is worth it for the rewards. If you keep doing requests, you'll eventually get hangout events with Elizabeth. She's the best Velvet Room attendant, so I recommend lol. *I'm pretty sure all the requests with deadlines can be achieved by talking to your party members at the dorm. You'll be looking for an item that one of them has access too. *The hands are definitely worth killing if you get the chance.
