UA-cam is flooded with videos where people find a motorcycle by the roadside, take it home, and quickly refurbish it to look like new. This video explains that these videos are fake. Motorcycles, as well as cars, machinery, and weapons, are intentionally made to look as bad as possible so that the difference is more pronounced when they are fixed up. The worst part is that people who genuinely ...

Honda CBR500R: A Perfect Balance of Performance and Value for Money
"3 Lighters per 100 kilometers" AI speak ......
I have the Latam version, XTZ250. I've owned for 9 years now. Looks like new..never one issue.
3 lighters is a lot of butane 😂
Every rider needs a XT250 made before 1985
I live in Thailand Need to have serow250 too
Ive got one, it's 20yrs old, still has drum back brakes and 6 gears. It's been on the back of my motorhome around Australia from the Snowys to the desert. I am constantly amazed at where it can go, and it seems its biggest limitation is my ability. It's not the most powerful, but it's plenty for me and the upside is its fuel economy, so I can ride for longer without having to worry about finding a place to fill it up. I keep looking for a bike to replace it if need be, but so far no luck.
Bmw XR ❤️👏👏👏👏💯💪💪
This is by far the ugliest dual sport on the market. Every other manufacturer has left yamaha in their dust. Kawasaki has set the bar much higher in looks and performance .
👌👌👌
Just can not stand computer voice.
The xt660 is a beast no. Comparing to 249cc. Now if they made a new xt500 that I would get.
Come on, sell it in The Netherlands, I will buy him
The Xt 250 isn’t trying to compete with a CRF WR XL etc. It’s a different kind of dual sport, basically a cross between the TW200 and the WR250 but with Trials characteristics! It’s a tough and reliable lil bike. I ride tight technical trails on mine and it shines in ways other bikes don’t! The XT/Serow250 is quite literally the “GOAT”💪 edit. Serows are goats😉
Amazing review sweet and short. Thanks from INDIA
I can’t wait to get my hands on one . I love my F750GS but curiosity got the best of me, great for shorter riders. Life is too short, experience everything you can. ;)
Please, can you tell me when you get it how it is compared to f750gs. Thanks :)
great video for us!
You can get a CRF300 for a couple hundred more, and the CRF250 was around the same price, and of course there's always the used market for any of the 3 let alone other's.
Had an Xlr250r 87 model and the legendary (at least in Greece) xt 550 82 model and you're true except traveling the hi ways for the rest they are quite capable and reliable.
Nicely done! great editing. 👍
Thanks sir! Is this your Harley Pan American on your channel? Nice bike, I am planning to make video about Pan Am too :)
@@Wheelscraper Thank you! It was my Pan America. Unfortunately it ran into electrical gremlins that Harley couldn’t sort out so they bought it back from me for an acceptable price. It was a total hoot to ride when it went though!
Thanks, love mine.
“Sport Touring”. Look at that seat!! 2cm of padding! I’d be done after less than 100km!!
I had so much on my old xt250
The best way to describe this bike is that its the only street legal bike of its kind that replaces legendary trail bikes lile xr250r. Take this bike off road and you will understand why it is so loved. The only people who hate it either dont off road good enough or just ride on the street.
I bought one for my wife. Great bike. Its a little small for me, but i still have a blast on it.
Not liking the split front fender.
You can fit a high single fender which helps to block cooling air to the engine.
Needs FI. Get rid of the carb and I'm interested.
🤦Obviously you shouldn't own a motorcycle...
It is fuel injected.
I stand corrected....if it's fuel injected...interested. My carb days are over.
Well, I own 7....and my TV room is full of off road racing trophy's but maybe I do need a different hobby.@@etfireman1
I wish it had carb @@davevisse
Eh if I were to get a dual sport it would probably not be this bike. I would rather have something that is more capable off-road
This bikenis extremely capable, i have one, then all my friend bought ones they are guys with ktm 500. This bike is more capable off road then anything you can ever do unless your racing.
@@BlackwaterAquatics I was more thinking ktm 350 with a plate put on it. 500 is way too big for serious woods riding. No modern bike with performance in mind is going to be air cooled. And you can’t beat ktm in the woods
@@StealingHubCaps56 how much wood riding experience do you have. The crf250f is considered one of the best modern wood riding bike and its aircool. Very little people can get all out of a ktm 350 on technical riding
@@BlackwaterAquatics I ride at least once a week in the woods. I think you’re missing my point. Those air cooled woods bikes aren’t bad bikes they’re just not at all performance oriented. If I were to have a dual sport bike I would have a bike that is intended for xc racing or enduro riding. It doesn’t have to be ktm the crf 250x would be a good option. I should mention that all of my dirt bikes are not dual sports I have no intention of riding them on the street.
This bike sucks off road compared to the geometry of a racing bike off road. I own a 22. Will it get you there, yes but it’ll struggle bus the whole way. I’ve taken mine on some extremely rugged trails i will say it’s a tank but drives like one also.
Very Nice Looks 👍😊
nice
"AI cannot help here"? Robots are not necessarily AI, and there are already factory robots that build wire wheels
I mentioned AI because it is popular these days. And yes, technology is advancing, but robots in factories still don't produce high quality wire spoked wheels without humans involved... Thanks for coment, happy new year
“Car-bones” 😂
Not gonna lie, there are some errors with the AI voiceover, but this was the best version. The important thing is that there are no errors in the context. Happy new year!
They're wheels not "rims". A rim is merely part of a wheel.
Yes, and the center part is called the hub. The complete assembly is a wheel. But the question is; which is your preference. spoked or cast aluminum?
@@x-man5056 It depends on the bike
And spoke wheels give you plenty of "think'n time" as you clean and polish them. I like the look and ride of them better. Some aluminum wheels are very attractive, some are butt ugly. Spokes are only clean and shiny or schmutzy and rusty.
I grew into spoked over the years. My ktm spoked are high grade stainless steel with anodised alloy rims. They are far easier to bring up to as-new. Spray de-greaser wait 10 and spray off. Far easier than non-spoked.
@@ekspatriat Even Stainless will dull over time if you don't put some polish on them once or twice a year, BUT no rust. On a dirt bike likely not as big priority as a street bike though. It is tedious cleaning and polishing them but a good way to spend a relaxing hour or two with some tunes and a cool beverage.
If RE gets the pricing right then the New 450 Himmie will be a big,big seller
I don't see the issue ,I mean cheap bikes can be fun plus most used bikes need new tires lol. Plus if it's been sitting for so long it's gonna need some wiring ,I love doing wiring ,in fact I got a vmax with a rats nest of wiring fixed it and redid the whole thing added nitrous and made it efi its a super reliable bike now.
Of course, cheap motorcycles can be fun. The problem is when we expect to ride on a budget but end up with a poor-quality motorcycle that requires a lot of investment. In the end, we get an expensive motorcycle that still isn't in a desirable condition.
@Wheelscraper Usually if you expect to ride on a budget you just get a klr lol. If you buy a cheap bike you have to budget for all the issues that'll come up ,a cheap bike is usually bought by someone wanting to practice fixing one and wiring I haven't seen anyone buy one to save money to ride especially since most cheap bikes have been sitting and the fuel system is gonna need some work along with the suspension.
Whole dream destroyed in seconds 😢
Without a second thought I would definitely go with R1🎉
I will stop riding if it's become like that 😂😂
lol the first clip
I have a 22 sv 650 and I absolutely love it. Iam 62 and when I ride it I feel 30 yrs younger.
Mine comes this Week 😊
congratulations!!!
You'll have a blast.
All in all the SV650 is a stellar machine. I doubt many bikes have won more road races in the last 25 years than this one. A testament to it's durability. Bought a '23 blue 650 abs this year and have no complaints. The sound of the stock exhaust is superb. The 4 pot front brake hauls this bike down quickly. Love the looks, handling and pretty much all else. Not quite as quick as my Z900's, but almost as fun.
Thank you for the comment. Yes, the Z900 is a completely different category, but with SV, you definitely get more than you expected.
@@Wheelscraper Undoubtedly sir.
