my Dante firmware is 4.2.3.13 but I can't update the card. Dante update can't show anything just serching device......
Genuine question. What is your opinion on the performance and also build quality of the Wing..
Does it play mp3
To my knowledge no they have to be wav.
I think the bus to bus sends are awesome, but typically for a reverb I would have an aux return channel receiving that bus as an input and then route the aux channel back into whichever bus I am needing to hear it in. At least thats how I have always done it?
You can do it both ways. I need to save the extra channels so I don’t use a channel to do it.
Say, what are you using the Streamdeck for?
After updating to 3.0.4 im facing in my dante continues im getting glitching ,cracks sound all the settings are properly i checked everything still the problem is same in latency tab im getting red bars as i start DVS before it was working very well after updating this problem came So are you facing same issue? Thanks in advance
this would be important information since i am also running a dante setup
Have you made sure your Dante card frimware is updated to the latest ver? I had to update my card to get it to work correctly.
@@AllenPendleton yes it on latest update
i'm still waiting to upgrade, since there's been some bugs reported even in 3.0.4
I think making the matrices basically additional buses is what other people aren’t talking about enough. 24 stereo buses and 4 main mixes is insane!
We have dante sending audio out of our Playback mac and also have the virtual sound card running on the pro presenter mac. How would we route dante so the Pro Computer receives SMPTE from the Playback mac?
Is SMPTE more reliable than midi? Do you have to enable pro to be “listening” for SMPTE every time you close it and reopen?
I do find SMPTE to be more reliable. There is no network connection deal with, and no potential latency. In my case, the "audio" signal of SMPTE coming over Dante never doesn't work and there is no "connection" to make. I have found, that depending on your input source you have to re-select the input source after restarting propresenter. I've used this with both USB input (XUSB from an X32) and Dante, via Dante Virtual Sound card and in both cases you have to select the input each time.
Is that any latency in iem mix after compression and eq?
if you are using the Behringer Wing's internal processing, I've never experienced any latency.
Wondering, if I’m already getting the black magic decklink and the station, why would I need the mini converter? Couldn’t I just connect from the station directly to the monitors?
It depends on the connections you are using. I use the Blackmagic Decklink Duo SDI card, which has SDI Connectors out, and then I plug into many sources that take HDMI only, so that is why I am using the Blackmagic mini converters.
@@technicallychurch question, I ordered all the equipment you described, installed the SDI card, downloaded the software, however, it still says no card installed. I returned the sdi card and got s new one, still the same problem. Am I missing something?
You need the Desktop Video software from Blackmagic Design's website, other than that if that is the software you are referring to, it should see the card. Are you on Mac or Windows? Are you using the card internally or through an external interface?
@@technicallychurch I’m using the exactly same things you mention on the video. I’m on a Mac, and I bought the SDI decklink card, the USBc enclosure. I downloaded the software, but when I connect to the computer and I have the software open, nothing happens, and after going on “system prefenteces”, I can see the thunderbolt is been recognized, but the driver shows as no driver installed.
Are you running sequoia? I don’t believe it’s compatible yet.
Thanks for posting this. I was wondering if I could use the Wing, Ableton, and VSTs like this. Now, I am sold.
Yeah! It's pretty amazing, especially if you already have these components.
Thank you for that. Knew I was missing something simple
Glad to help
When I try to add pro 7 as a connection I get an error that says ERROR socket hangup. Any help would be awesome.
I would start by making sure the network connection is enabled in Propresenter preferences, and that a control password is set. Then make sure the two ports match, the IP address is right and the password is entered on the companion side.
When I add propresenter and put the port,IP I for in, I do t get a check, I get a message that says ERROR socket hang up. Any advice?

Hey Mikes thanks for all you do. Just a quick one, can this Midi setup be used to access individual elements of an electric drum?
It could technically control anything that can accept MIDI commands, so if your electronic drum can support that, then it's possible!
after i save without channel 1, i change the gain of channel 1 .. when load the gain go back like before.. if use recall safe, samething happen.. if there any way to make the gain not affected to snap ? By the way i use Firmware 2.1
Hello Mike, I am torn between a Midas M32 and Wing. My critical requirement is outputs and I am a little confused on the Wing's amount of outputs. The Midas is simple 16 outs. Does the Wing share busses with the effects and main left right or are they dedicated? My requirement is 8 Stereo In ear monitor systems and one stereo L-R Main output. I would still require 4 stereo effect returns anything more would be a bonus.
The great thing about the Wing is it's stereo by default, so on the M32 to run a stereo in ear, it eats two busses, on a Wing, only one. The wing has 16 stereo busses (could be 32 outputs) and 4 mains (could be 8 outputs). It also has 8 Matrix, that as of firmware 3.0 can also act as a bus.
thanks for sharing bro!!
I tried connecting this way. It is showing a connection, but will not launch from my iPad. Any suggestions?
Owen nailed that!!✝️🥁
Thank you very much for the great video. I would like to know if I can program a button that fades without fading. I would like to switch back and forth between 3 cameras during a show, but I don't want to have to select the camera beforehand each time. This can of course be done with a hard cut, but I would like to have it transition smoothly. So fade. But without having to click on fade. Is that possible?
Yes, you can make one button with two actions on it, the first action being "preview cam 1", then put a very short delay, then a second action on the second button of "auto transition" which is the fade.
In the X series it's Copy and Paste. This new method is peculiar. Thanks for your videos.
i agree!
Hello. Is it possible to set up 2 Behringer Wing consoles to share a Midas DL251? One as a FoH console and the other one for stage mixing.
Yes, this is possible.
Check out my new signature “zildjian” 8” stack….
Thanks for the video! That's really awesome! Hello from Brasil!
What if we’re using iPad?
You can do the same process on an iPad running playback to a mac running propresenter. You just have to connect the ipad to the MIDI network on the mac, and the setup screen in playback is very similar on the iPad
Wow! 2 am!! Was Owen with you the whole time?? I was watching the livestream! He's a killer drummer and I'm inspirated every time I hear him play!!🥁✝️
Hey bro I have question for you. So my church has the wing and just recently bought the Dante card. Last week we installed it and it work great we received audio and send audio to and from Dante to the wing. The next day we turn on the wing and no audio was passing through the Dante network. So I opened up the Dante controller and didn’t see the wing on the Dante network. I troubleshoot it and called a bunch of friends that has the wing and Dante. And still no answer. I tried almost every way we can troubleshoot it besides destroying it lol
I'm not sure if this would be your issue, but with some versions of the Dante card you have to register them in the Wing. Here is the process: How to register a Dante Card: 1. Start the console with the Utility button pressed. 2. Go to setup/general and touch the wrench icon/options area in the CONSOLE section, 3. Enter Mod-Dante and press apply to register an internal module 4. Enter Mod-None to deregister the internal module. 5. Restart the console
That's awesome!! Owen is amazing and I admire him!!✝️🥁
great vid ! just a few critiques: * the autotune seemed a bit grabby on some parts maybe dial it back a little * the Stereo image of the mix was shifted mostly to the left for some reason. Possible oops on the Stereo Bus?
Thanks for this video! It was super helpful in getting Multitracks and Propresenter all synced up and ready to go!
Thanks for sharing. Voices too low imo.
Is it possible to send different tap points for each Bus?? Vocal bus send the Vocals include Eq and to the Guitar player Bus send the Vocals without Eq. An example. Thanks
the tap point is per channel, so you would have to decide on a per channel basis and then it would apply to all busses.
Hey Mike, in our church we use the WING. And have not been able to find a way to save and load vocal names on Mics. Your example here. You loaded Adeline and the channel was still named Joann. Is there a way to load the Name onto the channel?
There is a setting by default where names follow in the input routing. In the routing menu, you can disable this... either in the routing menu per channel or in the channel screen I can't remember, you can disable follow customization input. I believe that would do it.
Man, thank you for this. I spent so much time trying to figure this out - had no idea I needed to also set up MIDI on both computers. This was so helpful!
You're very welcome!
Hey Mix would this cascading work on the x32
Muito bom! Abraços do Brasil
When you say your plugging it into the Dante network what exactly does that mean? Into a switch?
Yes, you need to plug into a switch that is connected to a dante network
Yes, a Dante network can look a lot of different ways, but in it's most basic form, you can put a Dante card in the Behringer Wing, connect that to a basic network switch and then connect another Dante device to that switch and they will be able to see each other and pass sound. You don't need a router or actual internet or anything, just a basic network switch.
Super helpful! Ive been trying to get this to work for a bit now trying to use multitrack own videos as they were not near as clear as this. Thanks!
Does Wing's graphical analyzer appear to be bugged or is there some function that I can disable? The graphic analyzer is not reporting frequency modulation on the channel equalizer page. Anyone else having this problem?

Missed the door blud🫶🏼
Wow loving your channel sir. Are there any vocal exciters or saturation fx on the wing? Or you're using on the lead vocal?
Thanks!!
What if I want to connect my s32 to a s16 behringer stage box. Will this give me 48 channels. We currently have the wing with an s32 stage box and are running out of connections
