Perfect and to the point. All the best Anshu Also wanted to share that you can manufacture your own ssd as it’s a great hassle to manage new age camera and storage issues. I’m also on a learning path to be a good photographer and would be waiting for more great videos 🥂
thank you so much! I didn't know we can make our own SSD, will definitely try this sometime. Managing GBs of data especially video files have become a challenge for me. I am currently using a 4 TB drive but will run this out soon.

In Ikea, Bangalore
Happy New Year to you and your lovely family...this is a great great video. Many times I traveled up to Chickpet and Avenue Road to pick up things I might use, but it never occurred to me that IKEA hosts such items. And hey...you are in Bangalore :)). Ever considered mentoring enthusiasts with some photography courses??
Happy New Year! thank you so much for your lovely comments. I will surely do a course in future, just trying to get a hang of making youtube videos now :). Ikea is great especially if you are into still life photography. Which places do you visit in Chickpet and Avenue road, i am always looking out for good photography props.
@@photosanshu there are few glassware shops in the bylanes just behind KR Market (I guess they are tharagupet/nagarathpet roads). some really good glass vials and stuff for deal prices, and at the avenue road there are some wicker basket stores and some ceramic/cutlery stores. Then there is mamulpet for toys and stuff. Had been to Shivajinagar too for similar stuff. Visiting IKEA never occurred to me. And you seem to have gotten a hang of making videos. You take rememberable images. I started my 365 days photo challenge from today, all thanks to you!
@@Aruna_RamKumar thank you so much, I will try to go to these places sometime in KR Market. I really appreciate your comments and good luck with your 365 project, it will be amazing :)
I will try ! Thank you for motivation 🙏
Excellent tutorial 👍

I recently got a Nikon Zf and I'm looking to aquire a second backup body, that's affordable and takes my Z mount lenses. Honestly, I’m leaning towards the Nikon Z5, but with the recent price drops the Z6ii is not much more and is appealing also. Nearly everyone I've spoken to who actually owns a Z6ii (or Z5), LOVES it. I love my Zf, but I want something that will act as a more ergonomic and compact backup, with similar menus. I shoot portraits and headshots and an occasional family session or engagement. No events, sports or wildlife. I don't need speed, and I don’t plan on doing video with this backup. I played with a Z5 and a Z6ii in the camera store recently and they both felt really nimble and great to use. In use, I couldn’t really tell much difference between the Z5 and Z6ii. Both really nice. Would you recommend the Z5 or Z6ii as a backup to my Zf? If I get the Z5 I can afford more glass, but maybe the better body is a wiser choice?
First of all thank you so much for dropping a comment, I really appreciate it. I don't see much difference between Z5 and Z6ii either. If you get a Z5 which is economical, then it would be a good investment. Z6ii might have a slight edge, as it uses later processor, and it may have some noticeable difference when autofocusing. Other than that, I believe you won't even notice anything else while shooting. If you are ok with a cropped sensor, you can even look at Z50 as an option. I completely agree at any day I would invest in a better lens than go for an expensive camera body.
Photographer could be a model
Thank you!
Lovely tutorial and presenter. It’s a shame that people don’t keep the landscape tidy though.
Thank you so much, yes it was unfortunate. Don’t even find too many open spaces now in the city.
perfect :)
Hi madam I have Canon R50 with 18-45mm kit lens and 18-150mm stm zoom lens. Want to buy prime lens-50mm but confused bcoz of crop sensor.and Iam a beginner.pls suggest..
Hello, thank you for your comment. I can see that Canon R50 has 1.6x crop factor, so effectively a 50 mm will be 80 mm on this camera. It all depends on what you want to shoot. 80 mm focal length is perfect for portraits, but for street photography, it will be too zoomed in. Having said this, 50 mm lens irrespective of the crop is a great entry into a prime lens, it is more about using a prime lens for its aperture quality, low light performance. Hope this answers your query :)
@ Thanks a lot for your valuable suggestion..😊
What is your favorite Christmas photo idea, do comment below!
Nice instructional video. Thank you for sharing. Just as a small note, the silhouette style looks more like edge lighted as the light is also falling on the front of the subject and slightly illuminating it.
Thank you so much for your comment, yes I am aware this was a new style and trying to perfect it :)
solved: 40 mm
So true I also own a 40 mm :)
i will try this year
Hi, Nice Starting with videos👌 I also wanted to see your best photos till know to get some ideas...if possible. I am also using Nikon z6ii with 24-120 F4 & one prime lens 50mm 1.8 S
thank you so much, I upload at various site you can check my 500px page here - 500px.com/p/anshu_si
@@photosanshu Hi, You have very good collection, pro level. Need an advice from you on my few points and confusions; 1. As you know, I have Nikon z6ii with 24-120 f4 and 50mm 1.8. Please suggest other lenses, should I go for 85mm, 35mm and a 24mm for videos. 2. Are 1.8f enough, or I should go for 1.4 F lenses. 3. Would you suggest 70-200 f2.8, I am not professional photographer, I am doing job and taking photos as a hobby, but love to be more involve in photography and videos. 4. Is Nikon z6ii focusing not below other brands like canon and Sony? Sometime I get confused, when I don’t get good pics. 5. Should I take 2nd body for videos, if yes, which model or brand (ie. Nikon 50ii, NIKON Z6iii or any other brand camera), or a dji action camera? I am practising on Nikon since last 6 months. You can check my few clicks on Instagram - ShootswithSummi And Facebook- ShootswithSummi 6. Need few tips to make videos from Nikon z6ii, should I make video on manual mode or Autofocus mode? I would be very thankful, if you help me to guide on the above points🙏🙏 I am from Delhi☺️
Hi thank you first of all for replying. I would love to answer these points 1. For lenses personally I feel it depends on what photography you are doing, for portraits i would recommend a 85mm 2. For most occasions i feel 1.8 is enough to start but you can always switch to 1.4 if you feel limited by 1.8 that’s how i did with 50 mm over years i started with 1.8 and then shifted to 1.4. 3. I don’t own a 70-200 but it maybe good if you really want a 200mm else say a standard lens like 85 mm will do most of the job. 200 could be more ideal for wildlife photography
4. Nikon z6ii focusing is not the best I would admit but it still is good and for me who is a new video maker it works ok, check out my video on the review of Z6ii as well. 5. I am atleast using a Nikon z6ii for videos and using a DJI action camera for videos which is ok but definetely it doesnt give me same quality as Nikon 6. I click videos on automode. Personally I am a photographer who shifted to making videos recently and I feel z6ii is good enough for me for now unless I become a pro in video making and will want more. All my videos including talking videos are on AF-F mode.
@ Hi, thank you for your suggestions and clarity on all the points.🙏🙏
Always like to watch your videos from a experience photograhper😂
thank you!
No 24-70 or 70-200 compact zoom lenses ?
No, i only use prime lenses :)
Are you trying our any challenge in 2025? What challenge would you try out?
All of them indeed......the only challenge I face to keep myself motivated after some period of time. Thanks Anshu...your images are stunning to say the least, and I revisit your videos for photographic therapy. Continue making videos...often times the number of views doesn't reflect the quality of the content. Gbu
@@Aruna_RamKumar thank you so much for your kind words, I am really grateful that you enjoy my videos. I will continue making them for sure :) I have struggled a lot with keeping myself motivated at times.
I'm using the Sony ZV-E10 with a 50mm lens, but I feel a 35mm lens would offer more flexibility.
It all depends on what are you clicking, 50 mm is better for general photography for sure :)
Well, on a zv-e10, which is aps-c, the 50mm one is basically a portrait lens, due to the crop factor. A 35mm one would certainly be more general, right?
@ yes i believe so it will be effectively like 50 mm
This is great video. My question is How far you are standing from object ? Make more videos, so mention distance from object
thank you, I was at around 10 ft away for most of the portrait photos
@photosanshu thanks
assamolikum mam
50 mm. Please post more videos on your experience 🙏
Can u suggest me a best camera for shadow photography please 🙏
Sure will post more videos:)
There are many options if you want to go with mirror less you can try Sony or even Nikon. What particular features are you looking for?
@photosanshu I love shandow photography and low light photography
Super video nice information keep it up 👍
Thank you so much
50mm. Thanks for the video.🎉🎉🎉
thank you!
Madam, Please suggest a camera for video making for UA-cam.
sure, thank you for your suggestion, will definitely suggest few and try to make a video on this, try a cropped mirrorless version, it will be good for video making, i heard Sony ZV-E10 is good. I am currently using my Nikon Z6II which works fine for me.
How is the autofocus performance of a F mount lens, adapted to Z mount nikon? is it useable?
Hi, yes I found the Autofocus of a Nikon FX lens really good on Mirrorless, sometimes even better because it takes on the camera's ability to focus, including eye detection.
Which is your favorite 35 mm or 50 mm?
Another great video, sis. This is Muntasir from Bangladesh. It's really disheartening to witness the animosity between Bangladesh and India these days. Anyway, I use a Nikon Z6 and I think I prefer the 35mm lens over the 50mm. Just a friendly suggestion: while shooting indoors, I noticed that your video's white balance changes with each new take. I would suggest setting a fixed white balance that matches your key light and adjusting it manually.
@@MUNTASiR.2.0 thank you for the suggestion, I will keep this in mind, still very new at video making :)
Excellent video Keep it up 👍
Thank you!
Going norther Europe spring late May to June 4. Sun low
Thank you, hope you can catch some golden hour photos, those will be lovely
@ think low sun late sunset May 19-June 4 Northern Europe
VERY HELPFUL!
thank you so much!
Do you shoot in RAW or JPEG, what has been your experiences so far?
Excellent video - thank you for explaining everything in detail. I have always shot in RAW before, but recently I've found myself more comfortable shooting in JPEG. It puts me in a different mindset to get things right in-camera. In a way, it forces me to pay more attention to light and shadows. There's no right or wrong way of doing things. If one is shooting for clients, definitely shoot in RAW for a lot more flexibility. One more thing, when comparing RAW with JPEG, which Picture Control profile did you use for the JPEGs? Once again, great video. Keep up the good work.
@@MUNTASiR.2.0 thank you so much for dropping by :). I prefer shooting in JPEG at times to eliminate the hassle of processing in computer and something I can upload instantly. I keep my picture profile and WB auto for JPEG most of the time.
Nicely shot
thank you!
Beautiful attempt.
