I think it's more likely the Krusty Krab is shaped like a crab trap because Bikini Bottom is built out of pollution, and the gag is that a crab is using a crab trap for something practical. The vault with the secret formula (and all his cameras, for that matter) are a parody of the Coka Cola vault and the company's paranoia surrounding it. You really REALLY overthink a cartoon.

well... Squidward doesn't buy his artworks, he paints them himself. and painting equipment isn't that expensive anymore. thus, he can well afford it.

I think he steal some money from the cashier. Working for so long there, he probably learned one or two things on how things function there. We are giving too much credit to mr Krabs as a good manager/owner and Squidward as being honest. Probably Mr. Krabs only concern is counting money and not analyzing if the money actually match what he should be making.

In episode Big Pink Loser Patrick star got a job at the krusty krab and was being paid 50 bucks an hour based on what spongebob said to him.

the crane episode if realize how those machines work is atualy messed up., they are designed to ofton only have one "winnable" game out of whatever number the owner of the machine sets, and the loosing games the claw wont fully grab so almost garenteeing a loss and only the winnable game is winnable, but can still be lost. so squidword uses the machine on all the loosing games and then spongebob is now playing the winning game for then squidward to pay the loosing games, ofcourse knowng mr krabs and how all bikini bottom must torment squidward he probbaly uses some remote to set it to loosing game 100% for squidward and 100% winning for spongebob, becuase spongebob will just pay it back to work there.

I think the problem is no one knows what morals are anymore, i found most the morals in these but in new shows its just dumb stunts, The old shows expect us to have morals already, thats why media is failing, its the lack of Morals all together

My dad would watch spongebob with me when I was a kid and sailor mouth was portrayed as a kid (spongebob) learning a new word not realizing it's bad and krabs (the adult) teaching him not to say it seems like a decent message to me

I'm being not picky but krabs didn't "grow suspicious" of the health inspector. The news said be on the lookout for someone looking for free food (passing themselves off as a health inspector) setting krabs off because he concludes this must be the fake because the timing is stupidly convenient. Pay back was the nasty patty it wasn't a test to prove weather the guy was legit or not it was out right revenge for allegedly trying to rip the krab off
