This walking video through Japan's historic Arashiyama village located on the outskirts of Kyoto was recorded on an early morning in October 2023. Starting from Horinji Temple, we walk down into the village and cross Ōi River and continue straight until we make a left turn into Sagano Bamboo Grove and its popular bamboo walkway. After walking though the forest, we exit on the other side into Kameyama Park which we cross and exit onto the path that follows Ōi river. We make a left turn and walk along the stone sculptures of Arashiyama Arhat until we reach Tenryu-ji Hatto Temple. Walking along a further few smaller temples, we finish our walk in front of Nanhou-In Temple.
The video was recorded in 4K quality at 60 fps while binaural microphones were used to record the sound in order to provide a 3D sound expercience.
