I save a lot of legendaries to trade for XLs, or as "trade bait" for people who want it. However, at some point you gotta ask yourself if you are actually gonna trade it... You get only 1 special trade per day for most of the year, but if you have 1000 legendaries tagged for trade, what are the chances you will actually trade those away in a year? And you will probably be building the total while raiding more. That being said, not including guaranteed luckies if your counter is not up, there is an increased lucky odds for older pokemon. So 2021 or older pokemon will have 1/5 chance of being lucky. I believe 2023 pokemon is 1/10. There is an argument to hoard valuable legendary pokemon for 3 years to increase lucky odds, but of course that's a trade off you will have to make for your storage. I've also got about 5k pokemon which is a little concerning cuz I've been playing consistently for like <1.5 years. Though about 2K of them are in trades folders because I do try my best to grind distance trades with various friends daily. There are some things that take a long time to go through like going through your "supoptimal" XXL, XXS, PvP IVs.

Heya! I play Pokémon go still probobly cause I got the Pokemon autism lol. In all seriousness I like the advice of that one grandpa guy with all the phones. He focuses on the core, the basic catching and basics of enjoying the game, and I wanna be more like that and less stressed and fomo. But yeah, I just enjoy Pokemon and Pokemon go has been consistently good and healthy for me. It’s cool having mons I’ve grown up with and so many people I’ve met and pawsome memories!
