Yura Lee is a masterful musician. The path of her learning must have begun early in her life and been shaped by excellent teachers. She has some of the lightness of touch that Miriam Fried displayed in 1982 in a Zuerich performance of the Beethoven Concerto. Later I witnessed the teaching of Ms Fried and found her attitude less than light touch.
