I remember listening to this ep when I was 13 and feeling so affected by it. I hadn’t faced the trauma that I now know that I have and I remember just crying without knowing why. Listening now, I understand why and I sincerely hope she comes back to music like this in the future. She had/has a beautiful sound. I love it.

I remember reading somewhere she moved on from that era and doesn’t consider it as part of her sound. It’s mad cause Roots is how I discovered her and I miss this sound!
