Welcome! I made this channel as a means to experiment with different forms of content. Whether that would be me getting S-Ranks on Sonic games, having bad gacha, (or amazing?) or blasting through obscure mods from the 90's. You came to the right place. Playthrough of E3M8 from Wolfenstein 3D. Played on the "I am Death Incarnate!" difficulty. The penultimate level of Episode 3, E3M8 is a pretty tough level all things considered. Enemies get alerted quickly when you fire a shot around the starting area. So you need to act quickly whenever you start your first fight. This level offers a lot of barrels, too many barrels in fact that you'd think that this was "Barrels Of Fun" from Doom 2. And since the barrel sprites aren't cover, this makes the final room in the game a high risk going in. Overall I said it's all right for the level leading up to the final boss.

Is this being played by a bot? Is that why you push against the walls so weirdly when you open a secret room?
No, I sport a high speed play style so I have a tendency to do that sort of thing. Should note too I use WASD and mouse set up for this instead of the keyboard set up.

I play with both keyboard and mouse. It’s what I’m used to.

Crazy nostalgia. These were my favorite games as a kid. I even had most of the action figures, including the octobrain monsters that had slime inside their brains.

I never bother crushing an enemy corpse to fix the kill count on this level. In my mind, that last unaccounted for enemy is the one that captures Duke at the end. And maybe that was the devs intention too?
The reason for this is according to the Duke Wiki: An RPV is supposed to spawn in once you get the blue access card in the second floor of the adult store. But due to a programming error, the enemy doesn't spawn in which gives this stage a broken enemy count. I think the Raze source port fixes this since I noticed the crushed pig cop didn't add up to the kill count and I still managed to get the 100%.
