Get rid of the pointy nose. Not needed. Look at wakeboards. Stubby blunt nose . Surfboards have pointy noses because they need to duck dive under the water.

Pretty cool! I'll be building my own powsurfer this winter, I have a different theory about the ideal powsurf board design. I'm wondering why is everyone making them so thin with single layer plywood? IMO, a laminated two layer board with foam inbetween with a final board thickness of about 1" to 1.5" would be ideal. I think powsurfers should be constructed more like surfboards. Stiff and thicker, but with a lot of concave ontop rather than convex. For my initial board, I'll use 2 layers of 1/4" plywood with foam between, all glued together with a solid wood edge. Eventually, I'll make all fiberglass and foam boards, and even carbon fiber.

What press did you use for the boards ?
