So try creating an example of Elon on ketamine. What comes to mind first is that his ego believes it’s under attack and dying on ketamine, but at the same time, he likes it.
thank you...i like this explanation. i didn't know about prep and post appt.
You are welcome
Any chances this helps with withdraw to porn addiction?
My gift was a slap to the face. I needed that tbh
You can learn Zen I hear it can take 3 minutes to 30 years. Sounds like this is similar
I have my 12th Ketamine Infusion coming up through the Ann Arbor VA and the road has been bumpy. The last infusion was phenomenal because I found a ketamine infusion playlist from John's Hopkins, but the two to three treatments before that were subpar at best. I didn't have a strong dissociative event during the treatments and felt very agitated and irritable after the treatment for about two weeks. I told my Dr. this and he told me that not having a dissociative should have that sort of impact. The treatments are also done in the surgery recovery area of the hospital where your surrounded by other patients, bright lights and loud noises; I do use an eye mask and earbuds during my treatment which helps somewhat but I cant help but think that the surroundings are having a negative impact on my treatments and other veterans as well. With that being said I've been cleared to start my esketamine treatments for my monthly maintenance. Given how little information the VA actually gives on what to expect and ways to prepare for treatments, do you have any suggestions on how to prepare and what to expect during this process. P.S. Your channel helped me out tremendously before starting my Ketamine infusions with how to prepare and what to expect. Ketamine has given me back my life as previously I was at my lowest and didn't see a clear path forward. I often recommend your channel to other Veterans who are looking for information on Ketamine infusions. I just wanted to say thank you.
Ketamine saved my life. The torches, sometimes are bad results. I won’t stop my treatments. I go 1 every 3 months for I.V.
@@Barbie.Boo1961 the sublgiual ?
Hey Dr Ko love this video great explanations I had 6 IVs went great but sublgiual went bad im doing ketamine again my ketamine doctor allowed me using all of the preparations tools your saying ❤
The risk is low?; but we see what happened to Mathew Perry and now we see Elon! His erratic dangerous behavior and he admits to taking it prescribed You will never sell this to me as cure! Imo I think it is a risky practice!
Thank you for bringing up a good talking point. It's crucial to acknowledge that beneficial medications and treatment can indeed be misused, which then increases the risk. As opposed to careful screening and use only under the direct in-person supervision of a licensed medical professional. The wisdom in using this therapy lies in differentiating between its therapeutic potential and the risks of misuse. We have written a blog on this topic in our blog www.resetketamine.com/blog/delicate-balance-of-ketamine-therapy
Can ketamine improve cognitive function and memory ?
I have a question Doctor so about setting intentions during a ketamine infusion repeatdely saying to ur self i want to gain happiness and mental clarity is that a good intention by saying two things instead of 1 or does it have to be 1 thing like just happiness

What about constipation after ketamine
Nature never Nature's either. This means you can quit your job. Every thing is perfect.
Yeah! Thanxs Ketamine, it saved my life!
I read the results for PTSD are pretty mixed.
SGB was given to women in the 50s. It's not at all new.
Too bad insurance doesn't pay for it!
I saw your video 7 people that can’t take ketamine the 7th one I was wondering like my cousin had 6 initial ketamine IVs and it was heaven for him for 6 months but then when he took sublgiaul he had adverse side effects like panic and anxiety and when he did a booster things got worse would it be ok if he would continue ketamine since it changed his life dramatically in the beginning
Thank you for your question, and we’re sorry to hear about your cousin’s experience. Every person’s response to treatment is unique. Deciding whether to continue, take a break, or discontinue ketamine therapy should involve a thorough review of their medical history and a discussion with their ketamine therapy specialist. It’s also important to consider any social or lifestyle factors that may be contributing to increased anxiety. Sometimes, challenges along the way are just small bumps in the road, while other times, they signal the need to pause and reassess. We hope your cousin finds the clarity and support they need. Wishing you both the best. 💙
@@ResetKetaminethank you guys so much for responding my cousin is allowed to proceed ketamine he talked to his ketamine therapist he is way prepared this time cause of the videos of Dr Ko
Ketamine saved me from a life of merely pursuing intoxication/oblivion to part from my chronic pain.
What about a bad experience? Like a dark spot?
Having a challenging experience is possible during the ketamine infusion, so it’s important to be in the proper mindset before the treatment, emotional support during and after the treatment, plus having someone to integrate the experience with (like an integration coach or therapist). We have a blog that talks about how to handle challenging ketamine experiences which you can read about here www.resetketamine.com/blog/2019/3/11/how-to-handle-bad-experiences-with-ketamine Best wishes.
Love your videos that you were talking about setting an intention before ketamine treatments ❤

Useful. Good metaphor 😮😊
I have a question Dr Ko love your videos by the way I’ve been watching you with my mom because I’m having ketamine infusion 6 IVs in a month I just wanted to know if Effexor is safe while on ketamine ?
Here's an informational video on meds: ua-cam.com/video/eF7kjJg3L5c/v-deo.html
I went to a clinic and they didn’t let my mom come in
As someone that has severe treatment resistant depression and PTSD… spravato saved my life. I live paycheck to paycheck but the spravato with me program made the medication free!! I do still have to pay for the 2 hour sessions ($300 once a week before I hit my deductible) which has been ROUGH but again it’s been worth it. I’ve been on it for over a year and for the first time in my life I’m happy to be alive!!
I feel like my brain is swollen. I can’t feel my laughter and my facial expressions are almost non existent. I can’t even fake smile. I feel extremely depressed. Can ketamin help ? My eyes feel so tense.
Hi there, thanks for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about what you are experiencing. While we value your interest, please note that we cannot provide medical advice over the internet. Know that you are not alone in dealing with both emotional and physical symptoms of depression. There are people who care about you and want to help. If you need someone to talk to immediately and you’re in the U.S., the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 at 988, or you can visit 988lifeline.org for support. If you’re outside the U.S., we encourage you to contact a local crisis hotline or mental health professional who can provide immediate assistance. In regards to ketamine therapy, there could possibly help, therefore we encourage you to consult with a ketamine specialist who can best address your questions or concerns. A good resource to locate a specialist near you is askp.org. Sending you strength and care
@ thanks for the reply. I had my first infusion yesterday but I geel horrible. Could only sleep 4 hours. Nothing has changed. I am scheduled to have an infusion every week. Can this just be worse because it’s stress on my system? Why can’t I feel my brain?

I had 5 ketamine infusion for neuropathy in my feet iam still in pain bad today day10 they say it. Can take a month to work
Tgisvis what weed does trust me now im in the uk i been telling my doc this and about my ket use rather than NOPROXIN
How much doses?
Thank you for your question. Your ketamine dosage should be discussed with a healthcare provider. They can evaluate your specific medical history and current health to determine the treatment plan suitable for you. It's important to have a thorough assessment and ongoing monitoring to ensure the treatment is safe and beneficial for your individual needs.
I use at home treatment. I have had psychosis before. I understand the risk and feel like it’s my decision and choice to take the risk. I use K to treat seasonal depression so only a few times a year. I also have issues with my CYP350(4) and another I cannot remember. I metabolize K really well. My first dose had me paralyzed and oblivious to the physical world. I think it’s like the KHole/Ego death people talk about. If that too much K? 200mg oral.
While we can’t provide medical advice or speak to specifics of at-home ketamine programs, we encourage you to discuss your experience and any concerns with a qualified ketamine therapy provider near you. They’ll be able to help assess what’s best for your situation. Wishing you all the best on your journey.
Thank you for saying this. My last session did not feel transformative at the time and I was not pleased because I paid so much money to feel better. But later on I felt some subtle positive effects regardless.
I had two ketamine infusions while in the military. One for 17 days, 24 hours a day, and second one for five days, 24 hours a day. The second five day infusion saved my life. I found some pain relief and PTSD relief as an extra bonus. I went into the second infusion prepared to work on my healing. While there were times that I drifted between universes and galaxies in my mind, the ketamine helped to heal some traumatic nerve pain. I recommend it for anyone who is in high chronic pain, depressed and has PTSD. Second recommendation, is to read for yourself ways to mediate and focus as best as possible while traveling the caverns of your mind and spirit. Thirdly, have people in the room with you to help you on the journey to work on the areas you want to evolve within yourself.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
Is it safe to do monthly ketamine infusions for pain? I have been doing this for over a year. Sometimes it works well, Sometimes not.
Thank you for your question. Managing pain with ketamine infusions can bring up many questions, especially regarding safety and effectiveness. While it can be helpful for many, its safety and frequency are best assessed on an individual basis in consultation with a qualified healthcare provider who knows your medical history and treatment goals, i.e. the provider providing your treatments. You can always consider getting a second opinion with a different qualified provider who you can talk with and review your records with. If that is something you’d consider, go to askp.org/directory to find a provider near you if you are in the U.S. - Best wishes.
I feel like I'm dying with depression, I feel so hopeless 😔
Hi babbaruff1045, thank you for reaching out and sharing how you’re feeling. We’re so sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this. Depression can feel incredibly overwhelming, but please know that you are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. 💙 If you’re in the U.S., the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 at 988, or you can visit 988lifeline.org for support. If you’re outside the U.S., we encourage you to contact a local crisis hotline or mental health professional who can provide immediate assistance. You are valuable, and your feelings matter. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to someone you trust or a professional who can support you. Sending you strength and care. 💕
@ResetKetamine I live in Ireland. Thanks so much for your response 🙏
Hi Samuel ! Thanks for ALL your wonderful and honest video's you made! Wishing you a good new year !! Indeed, sometimes we can be "victims" of circumstances and adversity in little and big things, such is life. The present terrible L.A. fires are an example. Here the victim is clear... but in many situations we place the fault on the person : "she/hecan't find a job because she/he's lazy " etc. The "fundamental attribution error" (see wikipedia if doubt) is all about placing too much emphasis onto the person and not the situation to explain something. Being an ACTOR / CREATOR rather than a victim again is really important and key to flourishing. Yet, too much psy. trauma ( +20x ) breaks even the strongest as research shows. "Learned helplessness" in animals or humans just give up trying as there is or seems to be "no way out". I hope assisted Ketamine journey's in your clinic can "unblock" stuck people and give HOPE and real change to shift people from "victim" to new "creation" . Best, Mike
Ketamine is safe overall but it still can kill u in a variety of ways. and its classified as an anesthetic and ought to be administered by the people who went to (over a decade of) school to administer it safely in a controlled environment (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) or a Medical Doctor of Anesthesiology (MDA) =Anesthesia professionals)
So we are one step away from home propofol infusions.🤦♂️ Ketamine is safer overall but its still an anesthetic and ought to be administered by the people who went to (over a decade of) school to administer it safely in a controlled environment (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) or a Medical Doctor of Anesthesiology (MDA))
I prefer doing 300mg intramuscular over a period of 5 hours listening to binaural beats and doing some meditation 🧘♀️
Hi! What sort of positive behaviors post-infusion are you referring to? I want to take advantage of the window. Thanks for posting! ❤
Increase of awareness of how the intuitive process works. Try just keep thinking positive thoughts ❤
Affirmations. Journal. pay for a coach. do yoga. Hot tub, cold plunge, use guided meditation.
Thank you for your question. Taking action post-infusion is what’s really important. We have a blog that talks about how you can integrate your ketamine experience post-infusion which you can read here www.resetketamine.com/blog/2023/10/16/how-ketamine-therapy-works-importance-of-integration
Is there like a typed out tip sheet? My last couple infusions have been rather scary and I believe it’s bc I’m so anxious. I know the physical trip doesn’t matter bc I’m still getting the infusion but if you have suggestions on what to do I’d love to hear them.
You need a Ketamine coach before and after. You must journal, and meditate and do some breath work.
We are sorry to hear about your scary experience. Having a challenging experience can be discouraging, but is something that many patients experience. It’s important that you share any emotional challenges you are facing with the clinic that is providing the treatment as they know your history and assist you in person. Here are a couple of our blogs that could support you.
